Great vegan options! We had dinner Saturday 1st June, I had called ahead to make sure there were vegan options. We had entree nachos, which came with vegan mince, delicious!
Mains were parmas which came with complimentary sauce, happy to learn the gravy is vegan friendly too!
The food was hot, fresh, tasty and well presented. Its so nice to go out for a vegan meal that's actually had effort and thought put into it.
We look forward to going back and trying the other options on the menu, hopefully even a dessert! Thank you Neerim South Hotel

We had dinner here on a Saturday night. Recommend booking. The food was delicious. I had the pork belly and my husband had the BBQ parmigiana, both cooked perfectly. We finished off with the brownie and the crumble. Yum!

We are enjoying the updated room, it is good value for money, clean and comfortable.
The service has all been excellent. Very friendly and even predicted we may need extra blankets due to unexpected cold weather.
The food was extremely good.

Fabulous establishment. However, Tables were too small for the seating patrons. Friendly, accommodating staff - a bit too attentive some times, all good.
Food was good. Chicken parmigiana was unfortunately overcooked and dry - other meals were fantastic and enjoyed.

New owners at the pub recently. Have really made some great changes to the venue inside and also the bottleshop. Excellent place to visit if you're stopping through or planning to camp nearby. Beautiful little town and this pub has been here for a very long time. Great history. Definitely worth visiting and will certainly be back again soon.

I came for a snack after a bike ride. Great food options, great service, friendly staff. Very popular pub. I'd recommend making a booking.

Food was great but slow on one day.
So I'm updating my review i have been back 3 times now and they haven't missed a beat the $15 lamb souvo was amazing

Very enjoyable place to go when there's not much else in the area. All the meals at our table were good or great. We liked the personal service and family-run feel. There is a small issue with insects in the dining room. Understand that is hard to manage in the bush. Nevertheless a big thumbs up.

The reason I put 2stars is. I was there yesterday for morning melodies. Have been there for that event a couple of times and the service was fantastic, but yesterday we got our main meal, which by the way was lovely, but they didn't clear our table, even though there was only 2more tables . We waited for our desert until 1-15pm, we asked about it and was told they would get it then. Well by 1-30pm it didn't arrive so we left. I'm sorry about this comment but we were very disappointed. The entertainment was good though. We will give it another try soon.

We were 22 people in our group, we had an amazing time at the Midday Melodies, very well organised event with entertainment.
We had a lovely meal and dessert.
We danced to beautiful selected music and had plenty room to move around. Everyone was happy. I really recommend it.
The staff and service were excellent!

I have $10 bar meals here which was very handy and it was plenty of food for the price to pay. Very nice atmosphere. Dog friendly outside. They even have drinking water for dogs to drink

Great food and service, with great views from the bistro. Prices were very good as well.

Went there for lunch, the meal was fantastic. The staff were easily approachable, and they were easy to chat with. Meal was served fast, and there were plenty of tables available.

Excellent food, very friendly & helpful staff & an outstanding view of the mountains, while you eat your meal & have a beer.

The service was perfect the cider on tap was excellent and the pot pie was very nice same as usual and the sweet although it was changed on the menu and at that time there was only one other table of two, the sweet was magnificent

Prices too high, had to wait for 10 minutes whilst a young bloke (didn't look old enough to be serving alcohol) tried to do some simple maths to split a bill for the 2 people on front of us.

Would recommend going to the iga further up the road!

We had our very first visit to the hotel last Saturday 17th Sept. we walked in off the street, managed to get a table. No sooner seated then Ruby came with menu. Didn't have to wait long for attention, placed order, no questions asked, 1 seniors lunch with 2 plates, Delivered in great time. Ruby asked if we require anything else, meal was enough for us to share. On leaving I asked to speak to manager, Bree was as delightful as Ruby, just to pass on CONGRATULATIONS to staff for their incredible service & being so polite. ??????????well done young ladies?????

Ordered a porterhouse steak. It was cooked perfectly but I don't know what cut it actually was. It was huge and filled with very tough fat.
The service was good amd the prices not so bad.
The decor was terrible as was the atmosphere.

Beautiful Hotel with warm hospitality with a delightful country feel. I don't do photos of food, but I ordered a Seniors meal (mains & desert for $22) which was delicious!
The rooms are basic but comfortable.

There's so much to do in the local area! I definitely recommend making this your base for a weekend retreat!

This is one of my new favourites for a weekend meal. The menu continues to please with great dishes on the specials board. Great venue for an outdoor meal on the deck with fabulous country views

Good food and great staff. We arrived early but the staff let us sit at our table whilst waiting for family and offered us a coffee or a drink. Good service.

We both were satisfied with our meals. Very short staffed bit of a wait. But the setting was pleasant. Two diners appeared to be over refreshed and we're rowdy. But all in all we would dine there again.

From the moment we walked in we were greeted with warmth and a friendly smile. The service staff were phenomenal! Huge shout out to Jo too!
From the first bite of the meal you you tell it was made with passion and care, each bite was incredible.
Wonderful, relaxed atmosphere and we will absolutely be back

What a great vibe out there on that balcony! The locals made us feel right at home. Unfortunately our food wasn't ??'?, but once we brought it up, it was fixed and dealt with professionally. Thank you. We will def stop past again next time we are out that way.
