Abysmal customer service.
Ordered meals to pick up. Porterhouse steak medium rare, chips and salad and Hawaian chicken with vegetables. Was told 10-15 minutes.
45 minutes later, I was given a well done steak, overcooked chips and missing the salad, and a chicken parmi.
After waiting 3 times as long as I was told it would take, I didn't check it before driving home. My mistake.
I called when I got home to let them know what happened and was offered a full refund, and was told I didn't have to go back that night, an envelope with my details would be waiting for me. I'm thinking great, because I really didn't feel like driving back over, nor did we want to wait another hour to eat. Good outcome from a unsatisfactory experience.
10 minutes later, some women calls me back and asks me to bring back the meals if I want a refund. I told her I am not coming back that night, and she then asks if we're eating the food. Well, yes, we don't have any food in the house, it's why we ordered from you, and she tells me, not very politely, that if I want the refund, I have to return the food.
Why? So you can throw it in the bin?
Yes, we ate it, but it's not what we ordered or what we wanted. I didn't ask for a refund, one was offered to me.
I don't know who it was that called me, but she needs training in customer service. If the person I spoke to shouldn't have offered me the refund, then let her know. Calling a customer like this to take back the offer that was already given? Disgraceful.
