A must f your in Charters Towers. Great meals cooked by Tegan, large and cooked perfectly. Great atmosphere, friendly service and well priced. Dog friendly and has a two lane bowling alley inside.

Service was terrible. The food was bad the chicken for the chicken burger was chewy. The mashed potatoes for the bangers and mash where microwaved ?. The service was very slow it took 40 minutes for 4 dishes. The only good part about it was that you got to choose your own music. Don't recommend.

Two chicken parmis both came out burnt and dry. Due to time constraints there was no option for us to get replacements so had to eat what we could.

Great little watering hole featuring relaxed dining and a TAB. Staff were very helpful and it's such a great spot in the centre of town with a great corner view of the street.

Very friendly bar service. Good priced fish and chips lunch for $14. Great chips. Quick meal service. Only downside was smoke from outside on the verandah wafting into the indoor area.

Stopped for a quick lunch when travelling through. Order burgers and had to wait almost an hour to get food. Food was partly burnt but otherwise tasted ok. Anyone looking for a quick burger is better of going to Macca's

The atmosphere and people of this place is amazing. Have multiple friends tell me how great it is and my daughter says it's awesome to have a great time

Fun venue for mini bowling, first time I've ever seen a miniature bowling alley in a bar. Check it out if you're passing through town.

As we travelled through Charters Towers today we called into the White Horse Tavern and so glad we chose this Tavern. A delicious home made pizza was served with lots of topping including beautiful fresh pineapple.
Food came quickly, the drinks were cold and all staff were friendly and helpful.

Food here was spectacular.. the service was amazing and its dog friendly outside.. the regulars are real friendly and they have a 2 lane bowling alley in there.. well done

Lovely easy lunch on a Sunday. Wonderful friendly staff and the drinks were delightfully cold. The large eating area was cool and there was plenty of room to spread out. Toilets were clean. Do yourself a favour - drop in for some wings and a beer!

Really good atmosphere and not too busy around dinner time either.

Can't go wrong with a $12 fish and chips meal. Unfortunately I droped a piece of fish on the floor and the staff were only to happy to make me a new piece of fish. All in all very friendly service and the meal was very nice

My husband and I ate here on the 13th of October while in town for a couple days. The meal was disgusting, I had a chicken schnitzel and it came out BLACK, can't believe a chef would think that was acceptable to serve to a customer. Couldn't eat it even covered in gravy. I don't like to complain about food but this one I should have, should never of accepted it.

Disappointed that we went on a Monday when there were no meals on that day. Quaint cowboy themed decor. Friendly barman. Liked the electronic bowling alley being enjoyed by a family.

Had a meal here yesterday. Very disappointed and would definitely not recommend eating here. The advertised Friday special with large photo on side street was crumbed steak, chips & gravy so thought wed try that. Big mistake! The steak was not cooked and the breadcrumbs were thick & mushy. Guess it was microwaved and then gravied to hide the fact that it was not fried. In hindsight we should have returned the meal.

Good old style country pub. All amenities and good Tucker.
