Newmarket Hotel, Corowa NSW

So my friend and I have a little ritual we do when we travel - it's called a weird beer . It's where we go for beer to somewhere usual and off the beaten track. Well, this place fits right in.
Drove past , and my intuition knew straightaway that this was the place for a weird beer. As soon as we walked in, we were welcomed, greeted with a smile and poured a nice cold beer.
This is a place I can definitely recommend. Even got to chat to a local who is more than happy to share information about the area. We had a good chat about the local AFL in the area. The waitress also was very vulnerable and opened up about events that took place many years ago and how the local community gets together and does a charity event. It was a beautiful experience .

We stopped here for dinner and ordered entrees, dinner and dessert. Would recommend the Bacon and honey garlic bread and ribs. Delicious! Serving sizes were generous. Service was quick and the staff were friendly.
I recommend not sitting at the table at the cellar door in the winter as it gets quite cold. There are some nicer tables nearby the fireplace where you can stay warm.

I'm from Sydney and cam down here for a wedding. I came in to this place and had a nice yarn with the bartender and just got instant great vibes.

It's an incredible place that does an amazing roast of the day. Look everyone has a different taste for things, for me, I'm a well done kinda guy, a glass of wine and just a kick back afterwards.

I left feeling amazing. Portion size is great and again, the staff are really kind and happy.

Typical country pub but amazing food.
Wandered in for the first time and had the roast of the day.

Juicy, tasty and great portion for $15 (Monday)
Hard to find roast pork slices that isn't dry but this was perfect.

2nd time I went back I had the steak ($25 - Wednesday)
Massive seak for the price and perfectly cooked.

Definitely worth visiting.
