Nightcap At Finsbury Hotel

Perfect place for a short or a weekend stay, clean rooms and friendly staff.

I only stayed for one night so not sure how the room service is.

Checking in is through the bar, a bit different but not really an issue.

I thought it was a very good hotel.
The conditions of a good hotel are determined by the quality of the staff.
It means that there is a staff to love.

We stayed at this accomodation in February this year, and Lilly's service to us was so immaculate that when we visited again in May, we stayed at the same hotel. Lilly's service again was the highlight of the stay, she went above and beyond and her attention to detail is fantastic. We will be staying here again.

The rooms are quite nice - modern and clean. However the location is definitely a little sketchy. It's located above a casino and there are interesting characters hanging out there until very late. I would strongly recommend only booking this accomodation if you can drive to and from there yourself. It is accessible by bus but I would avoid walking on the surrounding streets, especially at night. The staff are very nice, definitely one of the highlights of my stay. They recommended that I park on one side of the building because that's where the security cameras are. I got a free welcome drink with my room as well which can be redeemed at the casino bar.

I would not recommend this place. The pros are that it is in a very good location, however, the cons heavily outweigh that single pro. The room service was nonexistent. They never changed my sheets in four days of staying, never provided daily body wash supplies or a water bottle, never cleaned my bathroom. I spent over 400 usd for four nights, the least they can do is provide basic room service. The room service person will just come in, take out the trash and leave like one minute later. And you can't open the windows to have fresh air. Also, it is loud at night so you are bound to wake up since there is a gaming hall in the lower floor and also the walls are thin.

The Night Cap is perfectly good accomodation for someone looking for a bed to finish a night out. The rooms are small, access is simple and plenty of parking.

However it's not very suitable for a relaxing stay. The bar downstairs was quite loud, music could be heard below. The walls are thin and voices from other guests were heard during the night. The blinds aren't the width of the window making outside lights illuminate the room.

Overall apart from the urine smell in the mattress the room was generally clean and tidy considering the age of the complex.
