Super happy with our experience here, the buildings exterior is certainly showing signs of age, but internally, it is up to par, the buffet breakfast is excellent, and staff are very helpful and friendly. Room rates are good and local restaurants are fantastic. Also there is a coles super market a couple of min walk away. Very happy all round.

Great place to stay at. Lovely staff and great buffet. A few things were hit and miss but Definitely worth the extra $$$. Our room didn't have a kitchen which was quite annoying. Maybe we chose the wrong room? I thought most hotel rooms had a mini kitchen. Got stuck in the lift for an hour which was very frustrating and scary on check out day. Feel as if lifts are outdated... They were also washing the tiles at 6am, but did not have a wet floor sign inside where you could actively see water on the tiles, so my partner fell face first on the hard tiles. Besides that, great location and close to everything.

Wonderful time with my daughters. Renovations are fantastic, family room was great. The staff go out of their way to be helpful. Lovely location. Can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay. Special thanks to Sophie for helping me arrange our great stay. Will be back soon.

Stayed a couple of nights as the hotel was reasonably priced for summer holidays. Still undergoing renovations but breakfast/bar and pool area were open and have recently been renovated. The room was lovely and comfortable. Good selection of movies. Staff were friendly and service was delivered with a smile. Breakfast buffet was the highlight in a beautiful room with calm vibes like a cruise ship. Light, open and airy with views pf the ocean. Lots of variety and delicious. Outdoor pool area was luxurious (spa and fitness was not available yet). Nice wide comfortable lounges although could do with some more options for shade like umbrellas.

Great hotel, excellent food, handy location. The renovations will be gorgeous when they're complete. I just wish there was an option to use stairs between floors. Doesn't seem right to use elevators as the only way around, but the stairs were for fire and emergencies only and when I tried to use them couldn't get out again. Should be as simple as changing doorknobs so they can be opened from both sides? We would definitely stay here again. Thanks! :-)

Stayed here in September 2023 after booking online. Location across from the beach is great and a quick drive to the airport. VERY dissatisfied that there was no mention online that all facilities are closed for extensive renovations. I find this highly dishonest that a hotel charges full rate for a property with none of the amenities. We were only made aware of this after checking in and providing payment details. Also, be careful if you are parking in the garage. The hotel tried to charge $35 per night when posted rate was $25.

Good location for those planning to stay somewhere before going to or from the airport.

Good food options nearby as well as a beach to start your holidays early.

The hotel is still going through major renovations at the moment, but this did not impact our stay.

Amazing location especially for those wanting to stay near the airport. The beach is right at its foot, and one can go for a quick dip. If beach is not for you they have an amazing swimming area which is once completed will be the most happening party decks. I can't wait for teh renovations to complete and enjoy all the facilities.

This hotel is a hidden gem! The location is perfect, with easy access to all the city's attractions. But what really sets it apart is the attention to detail - from the beautifully appointed rooms to the delicious breakfast spread, every aspect of my stay was delightful.

My stay at Novotel was absolutely wonderful! The location was perfect with stunning view. The hotel staff were friendly and attentive, always making sure all of my needs were met. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable with all the necessary amenities.

The food at the hotel's restaurant was delicious, especially the seafood dishes and the burgers. I highly recommend trying the seafood.

Overall, I had a fantastic time and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing beach getaway with great amenities and excellent service.

It was a sheer pleasure to be living in a place that can be described only as heaven. My room opened to the breathtaking view of the sea and I had most of my evening meals taking in that view. Room service was extremely good and polite. Breakfast although mostly continental, was always fresh and delicious. Lovely experience.

This is a very nice hotel. Friendly staff. Good location. Pools were clean. Indoor pool was lovely in winter! Everything in order. Only 1 issue with parking. The ramp to the underground carpark is very narrow. They should consider widening.

We are a young family with little kids, and our North facing room was perfect. Beautiful new rooms, with beautiful bathroom. Views of Botany Bay and the airport were great, although a little sad from the rain, still amazing! The immediate area around hotel was great too, with plenty of places to eat and playgrounds across the street.

Conviniently located across beach. Biggest disappointment was that hotel facilities, particularly the pool were being upgraded and unavailable Not a great time (summer) to conduct revamps and still charge full costs without hotel facilities being available. Apparently work going through until March 2023 so check before booking. (I booked using a 3rd party website which did not warn, however to the hotel's credit their website did have which I didn't check until after the stay). Room has good view, although very outdated with a lot of wear and tare that needs attending. Two TVs in the superior room which was great if with kids, however, the bedroom TV did not work.

Close to beach, good view of airport, city and beach. Refurbishment going on so most of facilities are unavailable like the pool and bar but we still had to pay full price.
Highlight was the room. One of the best rooms I've stayed in. Due to having a separate lounge and room with balcony. Bed was comfy. The layout was different. You walk into the open lounge and the hallway leads to the bedroom only separated in the middle by the bathroom. Bedroom and lounge had separate TV's that were massive. Balcony is not ideal for kids though. Not safe. And reception staff didn't have a good knowledge of where restaurants were just down the road. Massive foyer with seating. And big driveway at entrance with well signposted parking in basement.

The lobby, hallways, lifts and our room looked like it hadn't been refurbished since the 1990s. The room's furniture were very old and looked oversized for the space. TV was stuck to the hotel channel and cant even switch to the free to air channels. The entire room looked like a room from a 3 star hotel. The only good thing was the bed which was clean and comfy. We had a balcony on level 6 which faced Bay St where you could see the beach. The worst thing was the road noise that was so loud even at level 6. The sliding doors were useless in blocking any of the outside noise. We couldn't sleep at all. For an accor hotel, definitely disappointing and definitely not the hotel my friend raves about.

Overall a good hotel. There is currently renovations occuring which has caused the closure of some areas, so looking forward to what these will look like when they are completed.

The rooms have been updated and are clean. They have plush carpet throughout and nicely styled with multiple LED lighting options. The bathrooms are also well styled and stocked. Rooms all seem not to be missing any of the essential elements you would expect in a hotel room (iron, kettle, mini fridge, robes, small safe, TV and desk). Most balconies have some view of the water with some additional seating for the balcony.

Staff were very pleasant, easy to deal with and more than happy to help out.

Terrible service from reception. Water leak in the ceiling of my room dripping all night. Alerted reception staff in the morning with no action taken. Had to call twice to get offered a room change. No apology. No explanation. Nothing. Also no heat in room and strong mould smell- probably from the water leak.
I appreciate no one's fault but to have to chase them to do anything and without apology is unacceptable.

Overpriced hotel! For the price your paying you expect the room to be perfect unfortunately the rooms outdated the whole hotel needs a complete makeover! Definitely not 4 stars needs to be 3 stars.
We ordered room service for dinner it was tasteless by far the worst room service meals I've ever had. We couldn't eat it that's how bad it was. Waste of money!
Car park smells so bad . Honestly dont waste your money staying here. The reception staff were great that was the only good experience great customer service, everything else was very disappointing. Would never stay here again or recommend

What an amazing.place and the service.
Celebrated my 10th year anniversary on the weekend and got a beautiful champagne with a plate of fruit and nuts with crackers and cheese all complimentary.
Staff were so good.
Unlucky I went when renovations are on so no pool or spa or gym but they still made it comfortable.

My stay was great, good location, big room, comfy bed, only thing the fridge didn't work, or the heater, my room was cold. Buffet breakfast has lots of variety, something for everyone. Staff were pleasant and smiling. Right on the bay it's perfect for a morning walk

Very helpful staff at the front desk throughout my stay. Excellent guest suite. Meals very good in main restaurant, and lighter meals similarly from the bar on 3rd floor. While not located at Sydney Airport, both domestic and international terminals reachable by car in about 10 minutes most of the day. Not morning peak hour.

Renovated rooms were falling apart. Rude staff terrible food ridiculous prices. Do not waste your money.

Great rooms great atmosphere with beautiful views. The staff were always friendly and helpful. I dealt with the Assistant Manager Mr Amin who made our stay at the Novotel amazing. He was professional and went above and beyond to make our daughters birthday weekend special. So thank you and see you again soon.

2nd time Ive booked the ocean view room for my wifes birthday. Both occasions were perfect, also received complimentary dessert upon arrival. View was great, rooms have been updated since our first visit & are now modern. Cant fault this hotel at all, will definitely be back.

This beachfront hotel is pricey because it is known to be luxurious and in of the too of the range rooms available in Sydney, and it is a nice place to stay. Very elegant and fancy lobby. Get a room with a balcony!! Food and dining located all around the hotel.

Rooms have been upgraded and look great. I found the beds a bit soft but kids and wife loved them.Bar and indoor pool closed for renovations which was a bit disappointing but it is what is.Overall very good

Great location for Sydney not too crowded and close to airport and city. Was a little noisy at night but the views were great and the rooms was perfect. Loved the bed and plenty of eatery option on the Bay Street and beach front. Price was great for the times.
