Novotel Sydney on Darling Harbour - Pub in Pyrmont New South Wales

I recently stayed at the Novotel Sydney on Darling Harbour and had a wonderful experience from start to finish. The rooms were comfortable, the location was perfect for exploring the city, and the staff was consistently friendly and professional.

One highlight in particular was their breakfast bar, which offers a free barista service - something I rarely see at other hotels. On my third day, I enjoyed one of the best coffees I've had in a long time, prepared by Jamie. He is clearly service-oriented and went out of his way to ensure every guest felt welcomed. I was especially impressed by the way he graciously handled a difficult guest just before serving me, demonstrating genuine class and top-notch customer service. It's evident that Jamie is a natural leader and an asset to the hotel.

Overall, the breakfast, the amazing coffee, and the thoughtful service made my stay truly memorable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Sydney and look forward to returning in the future.

I keep coming back to the Novotel for one reason - the customer service is exceptional. Yes the location is very convenient and the room price generally competitive, but the customer service is what sets this Novotel apart. The staff are warm and friendly and always willing to assist. It's brilliant!

We were greeted by the lady at the check in desk and she was friendly and helpful. Another gentleman from the check in desk was super friendly and wished us a happy Chinese New Year and offered us fortune cookies and had a chat, asking what we were in town for. He also said we could ask the concierge downstairs for any events that will be on for Chinese NY. He was really helpful, friendly and made us feel welcome. Much appreciated as we had not stayed with you before. We were in room 363 and it was very comfortable and quiet. (We have stayed elsewhere in the city and found the accommodation noisy for sleeping with lift noise and other room noise. Beds were dreamy comfortable too. We had dinner in the restaurant and the food was delicious and a good menu variety for families.

This hotel is in a great location, walking distance to many restaurants, bars, theatres and many more. The food is absolutely amazing don't miss out on the buffet breakfast! The dinner at the hotel's restaurant was incredible! The atmosphere of this hotel is so inviting, it has everything you need to get the holiday feel.

We have been as a couple and as a family. The kids loved the pool and the tennis courts.

We loved it and will be back again soon! 10/10

Customer service was excellent the whole time. Staff at reception extremely helpful and welcoming. Very satisfied with the service. The room was exceptional - good views, clean & comfortable. There is construction currently under way opposite the hotel, but that was noted on booking & was not any issue. My only concern will be that the future of that construction may obscure the beautiful views you currently get.
