Novotel Wollongong was outstanding! The bar and gym were excellent, and the rooms were spotless with incredibly comfortable beds. The reception staff were friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. The Christmas decorations were stunning and created a festive atmosphere. With the beach just a short walk away and a free bus stop right around the corner, everything about this place was perfect. Highly recommended!

My family and I enjoyed a three-night stay at the Novotel Wollongong for a relaxing weekend away. The hotel's location was great, easy walking distance of the beach and local eateries. Our room was excellent, clean, and comfortable! The small courtyard (perfect for our curious toddler) with an ocean view was a surprise. We even got a daily bird visits! A minor thing, a smart TV would've been a perfect addition though.

We loved the swimming pool with a bar serving drinks and light snacks - the perfect place to chill for a whole day. It also had sauna. The breakfast buffet had a good variety of options. The parking was $35 per day and they charge extra for credit card fees. But overall, the staff was good, and my family and I had a wonderful experience.

We are beyond unhappy. We paid for 5 rooms for our wedding including we hired the wedding venue there.

From the moment we arrived the day before the wedding the reception was a let down we had workers not knowing what they were doing rooms not ready. Than the night of my wallet got stolen haven't heard a thing back about the workers who moved our belonging while my wedding took place. We had no room to move to until 1030 at night just as our wedding reception had finished.

As a newly married couple we were left feeling left down with broken air conditioners in 2 rooms and my wallet stolen and the front of house lack of empathy they called a guest during our wedding who wasn't us about moving our things to someone else's room while they figured out where our room was going to be. Which took them from 4 pm to 1030 at night.

I was and very frustrated we weren't offered help just free parking which isn't good enough. We paid a lot to have our wedding guest including breakfast which we got charged twice for. The wedding of our dreams quickly become a nightmare. They have one fabulous worker who doesn't handle rooms but does wedding that's Harrison he did his job and his correspondence with us was great.

We haven't heard from them about our missing wallet no compassion and no compensation whatsoever.

Hotel was good. Check in staff were excellent. Couldn't be more helpful.
Unfortunately can't say the same about the 3 girls serving at the bar.
Sat at a chair at the bar for at least 5 minutes and couldn't understand why I was not getting served. Other people coming up to the bar and getting served no problem.
I finally asked politely if I could get some service only to be promptly told I was in a No service area. I asked why wasn't I was told as there were no signs up and I was sitting at a row of chairs in front of the bar. Response was a shrug of the shoulders. No sorry at all. The other waitress said she thought I was being served but I'm not sure why then if I was in a no service area.
The other barmaid had nothing to add except a smart comment to her friends but quickly stopped smirking when I spun around.
Can't remember the last bar I went to that had 3 bartenders with such a poor attitude.

I visited this hotel for a conference, and it was really good. The conference room was on the first floor with plenty of space, and coffee was served to all upon arrival. Parking was easy on surrounding streets and free. We went for a walk during the break, and the beach was stunning. Lunch was served on time and was delicious, with plenty of choices for all. The dessert was also nice.
