Absolutely loved our stay at the roadhouse!
I had the pleasure of meeting Jo and Alan and they took the time to stop for a good chat.
I'm a mum and was travelling with just my 6yo boy so safety was a priority for me. They both made me feel well looked after and reassured me I was in a good place.
Food was great, amenities were really clean.
Highly recommend stopping here, it will certainly add to your list of highlights for your holiday.

Staff are lovely. The food was delicious! We got the nulla burger, steak, onion rings, kids nuggets and bolo. It was very busy at dinner time. The shop is expensive but it's also all there is. The accommodation is pet friendly. Rooms are super old but ok for allowing you to have your pets there.

What a great (iconic) place All the staff were helpful, and the hosts Allan & Jo were wonderful people who had the time to chat and share. The Lamb Chops were awesome, as was the atmosphere and reasonably priced considering where you are. We even got to see the local black Dingo and Whales ? at Head of Bight

An excellent operation, it was great to hear the provenance of the fresh food and have a wide range of vegetarian options.
The pumpkin soup of the day was delicious. My steak was as tender as promised

Stopped here for breakfast... would highly recommend, meals are generous and absolutely delicious. We shared a big breakfast, they supplied a 2nd plate and cutlery and were lovely to deal with.

During our journey, we made a pit stop at Nullarbor Roadhouse for breakfast, coffee, and restroom facilities. It was a decent experience. The roadhouse offers ample space, making it convenient for travelers to take a break. While the experience was satisfactory, it didn't particularly stand out. It served its purpose as a rest stop along the way.

Stunning location, and great roadhouse. Stayed in the motel which was clean and bedroom was renovated really nicely.
Wifi is provided which was very welcome and made this roadhouse stand out from others we stayed at.
Only downside to the room was that unfortunately the fridge wasn't functional.
Dinner at the roadhouse was very generous with their servings, however the schnitty tasted a bit oily and unpleasant.

Beautiful experience in the middle of the Nullarbor. A lot of people around, we stayed with a rooftop tent and had dinner at the pub ordering two good hamburgers and beer. Perfect place where to stop for a night and enjoy an amazing sunset.

Busy roadhouse, on the trip across the paddock. Great meals and the staff are really helpful. Recommend a meal in the bar, washed down with a few of your favourite drinks.
Motel rooms are basic, and very comfortable. A good overnight stop on the way back from Perth.

A one-night stay at the Nullabor Roadhouse totally revived us. I'm so glad we decided to book a room, instead of a powered site, for the night (they were also pet friendly which is exactly what we needed.) It rained the whole night and blew a gale, so we were snug. Rooms were basic and bit overpriced, but the bed was comfy and warm, and the shower was good. Dinner was great, and we grabbed a couple of very good coffees the next day. Happy travellers.

The rooms, although basic, were very clean & adequate. Roadhouse has dining in & fast food & both were good. Highly recommended a stay here if u get over that way.

Great place.
We pulled in with our caravan. Powered sites $32 a night.
Restaurant food was great. We loved the murals on the walls inside. Staff are very friendly and great service.
Reasonably quiet for its location to the road.

Great roadhouse, we didn't stay over, so we can't comment on accommodation. The service for food and coffee was good. They have a good selection of food and drink. Clean place and also have the scenic flights.

Crossed from the West, and rolled in about 5 pm, not expecting a powered site for our Camper van. Staff were smiling and friendly, giving a rundown of all facilities... food, bar, all accommodation and prices. $32 for the night. They had about 10 sites left a few powered. Sites were well spaced out with clearly visible power access poles. Ample rubbish bins around the level, well compacted area for minimal dust. Orderly parking of vans was requested, cars towards the road. The amenities were good, and clean for that time of night. Great hot water. $1 for 5 minutes. Great place, even an on site history lesson. Nullarbor was a lot better than our previous night.

Stopped overnight on the way westwards. Great place. Fuel is what it is. Van Park is a lot better than many others we have stayed in. Level gravel sites and good amenities. Awesome facilities with great hot water. $1 for 5 minutes. Restaurant looks pretty good. Will check it out tonight.

Nice place to stop and have a rest while admiring the history of Roadhouse.
Cheap showers if you're just passing through, and a great, clean, free toilet block.

I stayed in one of the motel rooms and it was clean, comfortable and had everything you need to rest up after a long drive.
However be aware that it is an older style motel, and as such the walls have virtually no soundproofing and you will hear everything from the neighbouring rooms and outside.
The rooms also seemed to fill up very fast as evening approached, so get in early, or book.

Fuel was expensive ($2.73 for ULP), being the middle of nowhere this is understandable, however try to plan for fuel elsewhere if possible.

Friendly staff, clean motel room.
The food at the roadhouse was great, and I didn't know the place also had a runway out the back for whale watching flights in a Cessna.
The kids also loved watching a helicopter pop in for a refuel as we explored the place a little.

As well as the iconic painted Whale out by the highway, there are a few murals inside the roadhouse and by the toilet block, plus a mock-up of the original roadhouse to the East of the place that gave a little insight into what it must had looked like in the early 1960s (or 50s) with a few old signs, tools and shop/servo furniture.

The environment was very heavy. The price for petrol and all the stuff in the shop was too expensive. I tried steak in the bar but it was obvious that the steak wasn't cooked fresh and they just heat it up. But still I'm happy we had a place on the way to stay for a night.

Don't bother! Sleeping in your car seat would be more comfortable! Didn't expect luxury but when the hard floor is a better option than the mattresses that feel like they picked up off the side of the road and you pay too dollar! Just keep driving!!!!

Considering the highway it's located on it was a quiet night. The facilities were clean, staff were friendly, a shout out to the young girl who served us a few times, so pleasant. Large flat grounds, just don't park far back corner, bad with heavy rain ?

Great spot. Stayed for 3 nights in the caravan park while we waited for our tow vehicle to be collected. Best service from friendly and helpful staff. The meals were pretty good value and all amenities were spotless. Couldn't fault our stay.

Stopped for lunch and fuel.

Lunch was great - pretty standard roadhouse fare of burgers and nuggets and chips. The burgers were freshly made and despite there having been a big group just before us, lunch came out together and quickly. It was tasty and fresh; service was good and with a smile.

The toilet facilities were also good.

Check out the old Nullarbor roadhouse and marvel at how far things have come. They have accommodation and scenic flights at certain times of the year.

It is sad to see that these out of the way places need to justify their prices. We are talking about out of the way, remote places that provide fuel, food and other necessities, not just to tourists but also people who live and work in the "area". This is the second place we saw on our travels with signs justifying costs and it is presumably because they have copped some flak from customers or reviewers. There is no doubt that things are more expensive and you might be able to find those things cheaper if you just push on to the next place (if you can), but there is no need to give them a hard time about it.

This is a perfect place to stay after a long day driving. Make sure to do the booking with time. We camped there ($20 night) and it was very windy but plenty space. Although we had fun at the bar with cold beer and nice meals. The staff was very helpful as we had our car broke down, we highly recommend this place.

Much improved since last here 8 years ago. Amenities have been upgraded and very clean (ladies, don't know about the male) and polite staff. Great to see the improvement. Only down side, fuel was $2.99 / litre, but that is the way the world is

Amazingly friendly team, after a long day which was definitely worthwhile as we stopped at all the lookouts.
Great meal, topped off with drinks and put the footy on for us.
These guys are amazing !! If we didn't have these oasis I don't think travel would be what it is. Big thanks ??'-

Best steak sandwich we had between Perth and Canberra and surprisingly good value for way out there cf to previous crooked one.
Nice friendly and helpful woman on the counter as well and good toilets with showers. Petrol a bit pricey there but understandable given location so we did minimum top up.

Great experience, nice room, nice staff, clean and neat. Enjoyed our stay and enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Bonus was that the heater is right next to the clothes rack, so my washing was dry in no time. Guest laundry only has one washing machine and one drier, so get in early.

Our overnight stay in the Nullarbor Roadhouse motel was excellent. The reception staff were welcoming and the room was exceptionally clean and well presented. This is a great effort in such a harsh environment. This is a stop to be recommended if you are crossing the Nullarbor.
