Really good and wonderful hotel with apartment style rooms. The lobby is quite warm and really well designed. The rooms are spacious, even the studio apartment rooms are good for a couple wanting to change scenery and stay for a few nights. The beds are very nice and comfy, but to stay away from excess noise, I would recommend levels 10 and upward, also you get better views, but that's if you are here for more than one or two nights. The rooms have kitchen facilities for you to cook, otherwise you can order from a delicious lunch and dinner menu. There is also very good and fast internet connection for you to connect your devices. The rooms are great value for money and well suited for solo travellers or couples wanting to explore these well-known Oaks hotels. The hotel also has a gym and a swimming pool for those who are interested in exercising. The place is close to and accessible by transport once you get into the CBD. The staff are very good and helpful, and check in and out is pretty seamless and fairly quick. I would heartily recommend this place to you for a visit.

Great location, easy public transport options. Nice view, breakfast was good, many options
Mold in the bathroom shower area. We had requested an early check in as we were travelling with young kids from an early international flight, however, our room was not available until after 2:30pm. Complimentary drinks voucher we received for late check in were for small only, surely the cost difference between drink sizes would be very minimal to you, however, makes the customer feel under valved. 10% surcharge at the restaurant, bar and room service on the weekends is a joke, when talking to staff I asked if they received an allowance for working weekend, they said they did not, so don't understand the 10% surcharge? Queen bed had hard ridge in the centre, clearly two singles pushed together.

Room was not what we thought we were getting, especially for the price. Asked for upgrade to a view but was going to cost another $160. Could have cancelled rebooked with a view and breakfast for cheaper. Our view was the building next door.
The room had everything you need and was spotless.
Staff were lovely.
Is in walking distance of everywhere we needed to go.

I stayed on level 14 and the view was great. Now I'm wondering what the view was like on the penthouse level (Level 24). It's the perfect location for getting around on the free trams, to a lot of Melbourne's tourist attractions.
Only negative was that when I wanted to go in the Spa, it was as cold as the Pool. I did tell staff and the next day it was warmer, but not 38°C. I'm sure they're on to it now.

We stayed in the one bedroom apartment and it was fantastic. So large and roomy and with a great view of Southbank and the gas lights at night. We also received a lovely welcome pack which we very much appreciated.
Check in service was smooth, helpful and professional, the breakfast buffet was fantastic, so much variety and again, professional, courteous and helpful staff.
The pool and spa were warm and beautiful and the steam room and gym looked perfect too.
Our only complaint/suggestion would be to make a section of the front stairs into a ramp.

Room is big but the aircon is noisy even when it's off, there was plastic wrap on the smoke alarm and the bath tub is stupidly tall while also lacking in hand rails. The sound on the tv also just straight up doesn't workz insisting another device is controlling volume.

Facilities wise, breakfast was nice but the spa lacks steps, has a large screw poking out of the bottom, a single large pipe in the middle for bubbles which is uncomfortable and you have to go down a lift, down some stairs then up some stairs to get to recreation services. God knows how anyone with a disability was meant to get down there.
