This building has many secrets.Previously an old flour mill turned into a darts, shuffle board, cocktail bar with a garden setting downstairs.. I like the old brick work, and the secret door which leads into a basement room which is being restored into a classy yester year whiskey/rum bar with sleeky leather lounges. The upstairs is spacious with bookings required for groups to play a round of darts whilst ordering food and beverage. I discovered outside on the balcony there is a garden area, which is nicely done with bamboo and other plant life to offset the city concrete. I am a fan of trains and just sitting there with the garden lit up, having my dinner of brisket sliders and sipping on a wine felt relaxing whilst listening to the rattling of the trains. It felt like a world away. There is much to explore in this building and the staff member Kyle provided me with personable service which is rare to find. I found out the oche is a franchise but you would be mistaken to think that this definitely was something unique.. who knows what stories the original walls of this building could tell. One can only sit and ponder over a beverage, whilst the city trains pass by. I'll be back with a group of friends for darts and shuffle.
Most enjoyable.
