Just love having meals at thus great Hotel. Fantastic food, great atmosphere, terrific staff and very reasonable prices. I highly recommend it.

Underwhelming Serving Size:
$32 pork belly was entree size depicted.

Walnut salad was tasty. Chips were hot yet small again (requested substitute for mashed potato).

Staff were friendly.

This was the first time I had visited the Old Noarlunga Hotel, despite living in the area for many years. Now I know why I had sub-conciously avoided it all these years.
We had a table for 10 booked, for a Birthday, on a Monday evening. We arrived early and provided a cake.
We were seated and looked at the menu while we waited for family members to arrive.
We ordered drinks first - and no, they do not have 'Coke', it's is 'Pepsi' only
When ordering meals, we asked for one of the meals - Salt & Pepper Squid with Chips & Salad, to have NO onion in the salad due to an allergy. We were told that this was not possible as "the salad's are pre-prepared" but " we can give you Vegetables free of charge, of course"

REALLY? - You cannot prepare an onion free salad due to a food allergy? and you are not going to charge me extra for your incompetence - well, THANK YOU! Read on - there is a kicker to this....

After ordering, we waited what seemed to be quite a long time for our meals - about 40 minutes before the first arrived.
9 meals eventually arrived, the 10th had still not arrived nearly 20 minutes later and we had to go to the counter, to question whether it had been forgotten. The meal arrived shortly after but by this time, several people had already finished their food.
The Salt & Pepper Squid - the one that had been served with vegetables due to the kitchen not being able to prepare a salad - at the conclusion of that meal - it was discovered that 1 piece of salad onion, had been placed underneath the stack of vegetables - I seriously wonder if this was just a coincidence/mistake - luckily the person had not eaten any of the vegetables in contact with this - otherwise this may have ended differently, other than with just a review.
The meal I had - A Chicken Schnitzel with a 'Shoey' topping of "Bacon, Onion, Mushoom, Cheese" sounded amazing on the menu but in reality, was unimaginably bland, it had no underlying sauce of any kind beneath the topping, there was NO bacon to be seen or tasted anywhere, barely any onion and the crumb on the schnitzel was not seasoned at all. Below average would be complimentary.

To cap it off, after providing candles for the cake and signalling to staff that we were NOT yet ready for the Birthday cake - they brought it out, approximately 4 - 5 minutes later, while 2 people were still eating their main course and 2 others were in the restroom - consequently missing the birthday song (The table had not even been cleared of plates) - Great work, Old Noarlunga Hotel staff.
As you can imagine, we won't be hurrying back and would not recommend.

There's no outdoor area too sit with friends if someones reserved it.( well in advance) Like today, we all wanted too sit out in the beer garden being a Saturday afternoon & we couldn't as it was reserved for an evening event at 5pm we got there 3.30pm, didn't want too stay long anyway, just wanted our drink in front of the fire place out the back. So for that, we won't be back!

I always get a bistro takeaway and it's the best food I've ever eaten. I'd rather pay more money for decent quality takeaway meals. Food is so fresh and yummy and I've always got lunch leftovers the next day. Garlic prawns are anazzzinnng. The only takeaway I'll eat, forget Maccas or some Chinese or chicken take away, Old Noarlunga always feeds me well and fresh delicious filling meals, opening up takeaway bistro food was a genius idea cause I'll spend the money ??'???'???????

We had dinner there on Wednesday the 19th July it was beautiful I really like the chips not be under the parminga the salad was really nice and fresh.
I love the glasses that they use for the drinks a tall glass. We will be back next Wednesday. Yum ?

In the beer garden writing this right now and oh my, the staff were amazing, the steak and lamb was absolutely to die for and it's just such a pleasant place to be in general.

Very glad I visited with my girlfriend on our 5 year trip, will definitely make our way back here again.

Staff pleasant. Food prompt. However, roast beef was reheated, from day prior. Lamb shanks fair, but no greens, which was needed.
Coffee, was like dishwater, abysmal.
2 serves sent back, but not much better. Weak, no cream froth. Like instant,wishwash. Horrible, Should take of menu. Or get decent coffee maker, coffee and train staff.,how to make.Apology given, but then replacement only had a little more instant coffee in. It was same thin, wish wash.

Excellent service. Lots of friendly staff. Good sized delicious meals. Wife says best kangaroo she has had. Great night out.

Very nice atmosphere check out the beer garden it has a gas heater and gas heaters all over. The porterhouse steak was delicious ?.

This is a pub not to be missed! Tucked away in old Noarlunga, you feel like you are stepping into the country side. Once you step inside, the pub has a rustic modern aspect, heaters to warm you up in the beer garden, amazing friendly staff, great food and drinks and just an all around amazing atmosphere. The local live music will be the icing on the cake for a relaxing Sunday afternoon before heading back into the week ?

Went to Schnitzel night where ALL Schnitzels are $17.90. What a fantastic feed. The food was "A CLASS" and even though the hotel was extremely busy the meals came out quickly and beautifully ? We were only one of several tables with 20 or more people and the front staff and kitchen staff handled the pressure with class. Certainly going to go again.??????

Forgot I had the app on my phone. Girlfriend reminded later. Asked could we do it then. No we couldn't. Also the veggies were hard and under cooked. Not the best of meals we have had there. Would we go back, yes we would but I think they should be aware of comments

This pub I grew up with. Never did Pauline, the original bar manager, leave people waiting for longer than 60 seconds to order a couple of beers. Now, you are waiting for 3 minutes when it isn't that busy. Sometimes you are about to order and the bar maid is easily distracted by a regular talking to her. This is not a pub but a social club. Not the way to run a pub.

Good food, quick service, even at peak times. Can recommend calamari, lamb shanks, beef and bacon burgers. Have good GF options. Friendly staff even though often very busy.

OK...This hotel, was our favourite place to eat and drink, for YEARS. But over the past year, we have seen a great decline in both its meals and atmosphere.
Last night we decided to give it one more try. ?'ever again. Aburnt porterhouse with so much fat and Gisele, and a menu that was of little interest unless you wanted to eat stodge. Very sad to say goodbye to such a lovely pub.

A medium steak was cook rare, great for me but not the person eating it. All the other meals where very tasty. I think I feel in love just a little with one of the staff, she made every one at our table feel like we were having an eating experience

Beautiful place with great food! The wait times were not very long and the staff were very friendly. Kids eat free on Monday nights and they have a raffle to win movie tickets, which I think is super cool! Overall I would very much recommend going here!

Perfect place for a good meal and drinks after a long week. Great outdoor dining area, nice and cosy indoor dining area. Food quality is great, service is friendly and fast, great atmosphere for a few mates or a family.

Food and service was great. Pricing was affordable, steak and chicken schnitzel were cooked very well. Mushroom sauce not too creamy, and wine was very nice. Oysters were good for $18, bacon was a bit overpowering but otherwise good.

I have eaten here several times over the
past couple of months and although the menu is typical pub food I have found it to be good quality and they offer great seniors discount. My biggest attraction is the staff. People love to complain but not enough thank yous are handed out to hardworking staff. All the staff I have encountered have been great but the bright star here is Audrey. I was with a group of seniors the day I had the pleasure to be served by her and honestly she is this pubs treasure. Well done to all the staff for their hard work.

Visited with my husband recently for the first time in a long long time - was pleasantly surprised by how nice the atmosphere and decor in the beer garden was, and how nice the food was. I'd heard good things about the food and was not disappointed. I had salt and pepper squid and my husband has a schnitzel with garlic prawn topping. We both enjoyed our meal and our visit very much. Will be back for dinner again soon. Thanks staff!

Nice old hotel that has been well maintained and upgraded as the population has grown but still has the charm and feel of an old country pub.
We had a nice lunch with plenty on the menu to choose from.
Head off Main South Road into Old Noarlunga to the pub and do yourself a favour, it's a thumbs up from us.

Lovely meal for lunch of fish and salad. It was well priced and the presentation was great. The staff were also friendly and very helpful.

Nice pub in a lovely spot. Ordered the entree sized crumbed prawns and chicken schnitzel (between 2 ppl). Entree size was huge and plenty for one as a main meal. Prawns delicious. Schnitzel was tasty and tender. Overall a great meal.

I've been going to this pub for over 30 years,still love it
