Came for the first time since new management had taken over & the renovations had been done. We stopped coming because it started to turn below average at the end but I am so happy to say the new chef & management have turned this great pub around. The food was absolutely bang on. Every single one of our table of 8 absolutely loved our meals. Service was fantastic, something lacking in so many other local pubs. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a delish pub feed with a smile. 3 fireplaces burning on a cold night was great too. The place will be booming come summer time with that beautiful beer garden.

Absolutely great meals and atmosphere. Nice and warm inside. Very attentive staff. Definitely will come again. Really enjoyed our meals and just being there. Lovely warm fire burning...

New ownership has turned around the OTH once again and it's now back to being a very good family friendly pub. Renovations look great and refreshed menu is fantastic. Great beer garden area and excellent for young families.
