I really recommend Oscar's and especially their Warm Chicken Salad with Maple Pumpkin and our host Brett added friendly charm to our evening.

âœ¨Oscar's was okay overall. We visited on a busy Saturday night and had booked ahead, but unfortunately, our table wasn't ready when we arrived. The pasta was mediocre, but my partner enjoyed the chicken parma. It's a decent spot for a basic pub meal in Ballarat. The venue itself was beautiful, adding a nice touch to the dining experience.

We had lunch here and really enjoyed it. Always a very busy place..weekends and weekday..but service is always spot on with friendly efficient staff. Such a great atmosphere here and always fresh tasty food served beautifully.

Had the steak for $44 with mushroom sauce. Asked for it to be medium done. And it came out very nice. Meat was soft and tender. Chips, sauce and vegetables are well proportioned.
The eating environment was very spacious and opened. The steak here is Gr8!!!

The lunch was very good, although the range of vegetarian dishes is minimal. What impressed a great deal was the customer service. The staff remembered one of our party who has low vision and printed out a large print menu based on previous feedback about the need for such an item.
