Pleasantly surprised at this oasis watering hole. Filled with history on the walls and rooms, i was welcomed to roam and experience. The Overland Ale on tap and a generous serving plate for lunch, i walked away with a fulfilling experience. The grounds were immaculate, the service friendly and food and beverages satisfying. Definitely will recommend this venue and hope to be back soon.

This is a must, the atmosphere is so chilled and relaxing. The staff are fantastic and so welcoming, even the handsome 4 legged one ?. Alot of history in this pub, beautiful garden area, and the food, all I will say is if you order a chicken schnitty, you will be asking for a container.. It's huge and delicious. All in all this pub, has alot to offer those who are wanting a great atmosphere, or to chill with a book and a cuppa. Highly recomend

It has to be the best pub on planet earth. Bought a didgeridoo, had a few drinks, and the live music was sensational. Make the effort to divert off the main track.

A hidden gem just off the highway, great food with fantastic service. Indoor and outdoor dining, take away if you like, a courtesy bus if you camp down by the river or just set up camp in the enormous carpark.

What a quirky little place. This pub is literally in the middle of nowhere, so having a camping area out back for patrons is great. Check the hours of the pub before you come here, as there are days they don't do lunch or close at 5.00pm. It has a very tiny bar, but very versatile. The staff were very friendly and answered any questions that you asked them. We had the beef Schnitzel , which literally didn't fix on the plate, so we got a doggy bay to take home as we couldn't eat it all. They sold some yummy jams and spreads ( which I brought). There is an area outside where there is entertainment on the weekends. The outside fire would be lovely on a cold night, drinking a coldie and looking at the stars. They had Coopers Pale ale as well as The Woolshed apple ciders from the local brewery in the Riverland. There are many photos and pictures on the walls containing the history about the pub, take time to read them as it is very interesting.

The Show-Off pizza was amazing. The photo is of the remnants because I was so hungry I forgot to take a photo. Spectacular service and a total gem of a place. The owners are gorgeous people. So happy we came.

Liked it. Had not been for many years. Apparently has new operators who seemed to know what they were about , seasoned campaigners was my impression. Food was very nice (both had Ceasar Salad with prawns and a bowl of fries) but took a while to arrive given that the venue appeared only about half full. Just turned up and were able to get a spot (probably lucky). We had our dog which was no problem. Short wine offering but we enjoyed what we chose. Good table service from nice young guy who seemed to be trying hard. Overall a nice lunch outdoors. Would go back.

Beautiful building, cold drinks, great views, awesome service and great food (very generous size portions).
Locals are nice and welcoming. You can camp around the pub or along the river and walk back for a drink or 5! ?

Overland Corner Hotel a must visit. Schnitzel was great and
tasty hamburger. Staff friendly and food prompt. Check their website for opening hours as it's closed on some days and no dinner on some nights. Open fire in dining room and bar area. Well worth a stop by and lots of historical pics to view.

The cutest old little pub in the middle of nowhere. Near lake Bonnie. Live music, open outdoor fire food and hundreds of different beers . This place has so much character. Camping is available close by. Awesome

Graced with history. A popular spot to visit. It was a long weekend so plenty of people about.
Good food fair prices and quick service.
Had a musician playing and a fire pit burning.
Could have stayed all afternoon.
Worth a visit.

We really enjoyed experiencing this historic hotel. Don't think South Australia has anything else that comes close. It's in the middle of nowhere but right on the Murray. It's old but not run down. It's quirky. It embraces it's history by displaying memorabilia. The service is great. People are happy being there and soaking it all in. To us it's a must visit!!

What a gem of a place. The best pub meal we have had in a long time. If you are in the Riverland make sure you check out this place. Awesome beer garden and friendly staff. Oh and did I mention the food.

Extremely disappointing experience. The food was not well cooked and not well presented. Both our meals were very overcooked. Service lacked attention to detail resulting in one meal being forgotten. If we hadn't brought it to their attention it would never have arrived. The water quality was abysmal. It was filthy and tasted dirty and I could feel the grit on my teeth even though the host claimed it was filtered. The outdoor setting was poor and although we booked in advance we did not receive a good table. Due to the issues we experienced I would not recommend this place to anyone. If I could have given it zero stars I would've. Money not well spent. ??'??

What a little gem we stumbled across! The outdoor dining was lovely with plenty of character and shade. The music was lovely and relaxing and the food was delicious, we had the beef burger and chicken burger, kids had chips. Spent a lovely afternoon eating, drinking and checking out the 'old stuff' on display. We left with a few purchases of locally made produce. Well done to the staff and owners on a beautiful venue.

Historic Hotel that has been restored nicely and was good to see. Good outside eating area. Burger was good.(I have had better) but would certainly have it again. Busy so book ahead. Stopped at the Lake Bonney Hotel ruins on the way out.

Loved this pub filled with so much history. Very welcoming and friendly atmosphere with lots of outdoor beer garden tables - great vibe and an awesome spot for an afternoon gathering with friends. The food servings were huge and so delicious and tasty - such great value. Brad the owner was lovely and also gave us a list of other places to visit in the area. Highly recommended ??????????
