I do frequent regional travel and Oxford on Otho is a welcome stop for me. The quality and styling of the fit out, room space and amenity as well as the location is a level up. Beautiful and refreshing stay every time.

I've stayed in quite a few places in Inverell, and this is far and away the best of them. Tastefully refurbished old hotel, with some nice modern touches. My room wasn't huge but it was plenty big enough. Comfy bed, big shower with rainfall showerhead, wireless charger on bedside table, etc. there's a kitchenette which is well appointed. Great coffee shop in the same building too. It's on one of the main streets so close to everything. Will stay here again most definitely. Price wise my room was about $20/night more than one of the other motels, and I think it is entirely worth it for the comfort factor.

A delightful small hotel that's been brilliantly renovated. The staff are all wonderful, including the all-important room "managers". With the bar, and most of the rooms completed stage 2 with a 2 story bedroom suit, restaurant and beer garden this will be the icing.

At present, they have the indoor "food truck" serving things like Burger and fries. GLUTEN FREE also available and delicious! Such wonderfully thought out extras to make your stay that much better.

I recently stayed at the Oxford on Ortho for a business trip. They have done an amazing job of renovating such a beautiful old building. The rooms are amazing and it would be very unlikely you would find anything close to this anywhere else in town. Best bed I've slept on.

The bar downstairs has a great selection of local craft beer and although I didn't try any of the food options I'm sure they are great like everything else. It is conveniently located in the centre of town and has a great coffee shop attached for you morning coffee.

The online/digital process of checking in and getting into your room is easy and you don't need to be tech savvy to work it out. Thanks for a great stay and will be definitely be back.

I am staying here at the moment. I travel a lot for work and get to stay in a lot of different places. Oxford on Otto would rate as one of the best places I have ever stayed. The attention to detail is exemplary and is a credit to the owners. I could not imagine the amount of work that has been put into the renovation. Well done.

Oxford on Otho I an absolute asset to Inverell.
From the moment you approach the building it takes your breath away. The historic features have been enhanced beautifully & are complimented by stunning modern comforts.
The beds are exceptionally comfortable. The linen and robes are of very high quality & all products are not only great quality but eco friendly.
The kitchenette and laundry is very handy & the bath is so comfortable! We absolutely loved enjoying afternoon drink and nibbles other balcony. Friendly staff. Very professional. Highly recommended!

My husband and I stayed overnight during our road trip through New England and we were both so impressed! As soon as you walk through the front door, the attention to detail in the renovation is evident. The heritage features of the building have been so wonderfully maintained. Our room was perfect- clean, beautifully decorated, warm, quiet, extremely comfortable and it smelled awesome. We loved having access to the balcony area and my goodness, the bathroom was amazing! We loved the little touches like the gorgeous, eco friendly bathroom products and the fluffy bathrobes. The whole process of arriving, parking checking in and accessing the room was so easy. My only complaint is that we only stayed one night! It really is a beautiful place to stay.

Rooms are well renovated and modern - though I was there in mid winter with overnight temps of minus 3 and you could feel the cold through the brick walls. I had to run the heater fairly high to compensate as there were no extra blankets in the room. The greatest benefit though was the kitchenette where you could heat up a meal or make a hot chocolate and there was fruit and some cereal on offer as well. Lovely stay overall.

We were lucky enough to stay at the newly renovated Oxford on Otho for our mini honeymoon this week.

WOW! What a cool place! From the moment we walked into the beautiful foyer we were blown away! It even smells beautiful!
We loved the quality of the shampoo/soaps etc and the softness of the towels and robes! The new owners have done an amazing job renovating - we didn't want to leave!
We even came back to a surprise bunch of flowers in our room congratulating us on our recent wedding! We felt so special, thank you team!

We can't wait to return!

My partner & I absolutely loved Oxford on Otho & was perfect for the two of us. The rooms are beautiful - a nice kitchenette & mezzanine for guests as well. Very pleasantly surprised with this lovely accomodation & conveniently above The Welders Dog which is also fabulous.

The Oxford on Otho is an amazing place to stay. I have travelled for business and family to many places around the country & found this accommodation to be one of the best.
For this particular occasion I travelled for a family funeral with 6 guests and stayed for 10 nights. We had 3 rooms with 2 rooms accessing the balcony.
The rooms are perfectly sized, the beds were super comfortable, the kitchenettes were handy, bathrooms are a great size with spacious showers and baths (although the bathrooms don't have a fan). The shared kitchen for extra needs were handy and having access for use of the laundry facilities for free was an added bonus when travelling with 3 kids.
One of my children are in a wheelchair and even though we didn't have the accessible room, the rooms we did have were absolutely perfect as well. The elevator was perfect for us to get up and down to ground floor.
An added compliment goes to the cleaning staff who were super amazing, competent, kind and friendly. They provided us with chocolate for my children for Easter, and left us flowers, a beautiful card and more yummy chocolate at the end of our stay.
There is no 'reception' or staff on site (except the awesome cleaners during the day) and I was absolutely fine with that because we didn't need anything, all of our needs were catered to.
Thank you to the owners, architects and staff of the Oxford. It was an absolute pleasure to stay here and an honour given the history of the building.
I literally never leave reviews for businesses, but you definitely deserved this one.

It's so exciting to see stunning boutique accommodation like this in Inverell! The building has been renovated beautifully but still maintains its old charm. Our room had all the modern comforts you'd expect (super comfortable bed, gigantic bathtub etc) but there were so many little details that make Oxford on Otho unique. The electric fireplace was our favourite feature. Extra sustainability points for the single-use/plastic free bathroom products ??'?
It was so easy to walk to all the cafes, pubs and boutique shops in town. The Welders Dog downstairs had great food and a wide range of craft beers on tap which can be hard to find in small country towns. We will definitely be coming back next time we are in town!

My husband and I were very fortunate to stay in the disable room at the Oxford on Otho as I am a paraplegic.
The room was very tastefully renovated with attention to detail for all my needs.
The mattress was extremely comfortable and the bed was the right height for transferring.
The bathroom is accessible for a manual or power chair, featuring a roll-in shower.
The room was was extremely quite and had been immaculately cleaned.
Oxford on Otho is in a superb location and has disable parking right out front.
A lift allows access to all levels. A cafe and bar with excellent food and drinks are situated on the ground floor.
Check in was a breeze and Oxford on Otho were very accommodating to our early check in needs.
I would recommend this excellent accomodation to anyone who has a physical disability.

Absolutely loved our stay at Oxford on Otho. Every little detail has been thought of, and the rooms are luxurious. The best shower I've ever had. We had a seamless check-in and it was super convenient having the bar and coffee shop directly downstairs. Can't wait to stay again.
