Here's a tip guys for the kitchen ... frozen pizza isn't good at the best of times .. especially when you've paid $27 for it!
Another clue .. when your wine comes via post mix it's time to go elsewhere.

If you can't cut the pizza up properly, how do you expect me to eat it ? Hardware store up the road is closed.... No chance of getting a chisel to eat this. Frankly it's the worst pizza I've had in 20 years. If you're the owner I challenge you to order it and eat it.
Very second hand ! To be fair venue refunded cost of the pizza. But come on guys... don't serve this rubbish again!

Just had a surprise birthday party at the Paddo for lunch for my daughter. From start to finish Brooke and team went above and beyond to have a smooth and successful function from Bluetooth speaker, great prices and sign made up for entrance Delicious and plentiful food. Highly recommend the pizza and slider platters - yum! Thanks again for a perfect time!

The food was nice and reasonably priced.

The service absolutely shocking. When we arrived, we had to wait 15 minutes for the hostess. The table we booked wasn't ready. No one was sure if the online ordering was working or not, after we had actually ordered. The floors were sticky. When at the bar paying for drinks, several extra drinks were added to the tab and I had to ask to have them removed.

I won't be recommending this frustrating experience.

We were in the area and gave this pub a go, I did not regret my decision. Only ordered the basic, and both were great. It was a little cold and one of the wait staff dragged over the outdoor heater. Service was fast, food was hot and fresh, and parking was free and on the premises. The pub is in the middle of the main street of Paddington, making it the best place to rest your feet in between shopping. Prices were fair and a safe choice for reliable food.

We both had the every-reliable Paddo Burger. Quality, juicy perfection. But what really sets the Paddo apart is the service level. Attentive staff confidently offering extra flexibility. Special mention to Dawn. Professional operation.

Well organised staff with a great array of drinks and food. Caters for everyone. Clean and well laid out for a great afternoon or evening out. Caters for larger groups and get togethers at none to minimal cost.

This is a large, airy and super comfy place with masses of tables in various different dining areas, inside and outside.

We had taken the precaution of booking ahead for a Thursday night, but it wasn't necessary, as there was plenty of space available. That's not to say that it was empty though, far from it, there was a decent turnout, but being so big, there's room for everyone who wants to dine here.

The decor is colourful and bright with maritime and sporty themes. There are high tables and bar stools, wooden floors, a large bar counter and ample strong lighting. It all works well to create a cheerful and welcoming space that's warm and homely. It's the kind of place that, the moment you walk into, you feel at ease and relaxed, and we enjoyed dining here.

Being a Thursday, the special of the day was the chicken parmigiana and a drink (beer or wine) for a reasonable $25. My wife and I dined, we availed ourselves of this offer and we weren't disappointed. And in a nice touch, a pretty waitress with a mask came to our table and offered to take our order. That was handy, as it meant that we didn't have to go up to the bar counter ourselves and wait around to place our order. It was all done extremely efficiently, and our waitress was friendly and polite. Drinks and meals came out quickly and in the correct order. Fast and efficient service is the hallmark of a professionally run establishment and full marks to the Paddo because they excelled at that. But one can tell that the guys who run this place know what they're about, because it hums like a well oiled machine. All the staff are professional in their attitude, neatly attired, polite and hardworking. It's a pleasure to dine in such a place.

Our chicken "parmies" as they call them, were fresh and tasty dishes and we both enjoyed our meals. The chicken was tender and succulent, cooked in a crispy batter, and covered with lashings of cheese, topped with ham and served with a nice dollop of wholesome salad and crunchy chips. A delicious meal, and a decent serving size too. You'll never leave here hungry. The only thing that I wasn't mad about was the camp-style tin plates, mine slightly chipped as well. I prefer regular porcelain crockery, tin plates don't turn me on.

Toilets are in the corner, there are adequate male and female cubicles, but the 1980s hand dryer in the gents could probably do with an upgrade!

We found easy parking just behind the Paddo in nearby Campbell Street, where there didn't appear to be any after-hours restrictions.

Altogether, a fab night at the Paddo, with a relaxed, casual and laid back atmosphere, excellent food and fast, friendly service. Making a booking was easy via their website. We received immediate confirmation via email and a reminder the day before.

Great selection of beers on tap.
Good selection of bottled wine.
Music in bar was loud - difficult to give/receive order.
Bar staff efficient.
Ordered roast pumpkin salad with Cajun chicken for meal - very expensive bowl of rocket lightly sprinkled with some pumpkin, onion and chicken pieces.
If staff want to ask how the meal was, they should want to know the answer, even if it isn't great.

My partner, buddy and I ( senior citizens) visited the restaurant for lunch yesterday. On arrival, we stood at for about 5 minutes believing that we would be escorted to our booked table, as is the case elsewhere. No such luck.
I approached the bar to be informed that we could sit anywhere and menus would be provided shortly at the table followed by placing our order. The menus were delivered and there we waited for the next 30 minutes for some attention.
My buddy and I found great amusement in our attempts to attract the attention of either of the 2 waiters who went about their business with the comical intention of averting their eyes toward our table. One fellow cleared the table beside us but appeared deaf to our call out 'hi there'
In frustration, I approached the bar and stood there for about 5 minutes, ignored by the lady busying herself behind the counter.
Eventually, a portly, bald gentleman disengaged himself from a group chat and offered his assistance. I casually mentioned that I thought we would be served at the table, whereupon, in a facetious manner, strode towards the table. I called him back as I knew the order.
Finally, the food arrived....hot chips and cold steak!
There efforts to discourage any future visits proved successful, as we concluded that silver haired retirees are not welcome.

Lovely venue, lovely food and great prices. Came here for Grand Final Day and the service for the most part was exceptional. I did have one waitress laugh in my face for a period of time and start getting all sarcastic with me. I was just sitting in my seat so I'm still unsure what the intention was or if it was meant to be a joke but it did kill the vibe at my table for the rest of the time. Overall though, great venue for watching sport and I'll likely be back in the future

It's handy to Suncorp stadium being 300 metres walk down the hill!
I get to the annual big red wine tasting night as well as the champagne tasting if I can snag an elusive ticket! The outside terrace provides a great space to relax

Good vibes - except manager named Brooke with brown hair is horrible to her staff. Constantly talking down on them for the smallest things & super undermining. We were sitting near the bar and could hear it all.

I have quite frankly never heard a manager talk to her younger staff members that way and was disgusted to say the least.

Nice food though, and all other staff members are so accommodating and friendly.

First time visiting, just had a few drinks & bar snacks. Absolutely delicious diane sauce & gravy with the chips. Garlic bread was delicious but a little bit expensive compared to other venues. Staff were lovely & super helpful, very accommodating balancing both the sound for the footy as well as the musician.

Friendly service. Lovely venue. Good food. Has to be best lunchtime steak in Brisbane. How do they get a rump so tender? And fresh crunchy tasty veggies? Forget chips and salad. This is a rare pub that's happy to generously serve the veg without extra charge or attitude. An extra star or two for sure just for that

We were a party of 7 adults and one baby when we walked into the Paddo today, 15 minutes before their lunch service opened. They found us a really lovely large table that had room to park the pram and walker. Nothing was too much trouble. Drinks served quickly, orders taken and then lunches delivered 10 minutes later, including preparing a special meal for the vegan in our party. Did I say, nothing was too much trouble? And to top it all off the food was delicious. Thank you to the lovely staff today at the Paddo.

Good food. We came here for Wednesday night trivia which while entertaining was definitely tuned for a younger crowd. It's a nice upmarket pub with good food, service and facilities. Pool tables are available and a number of activities are available throughout the week, including trivia and comedy club. The place is fairly busy but service is quite quick despite this.

Will give you ONE more chance, Paddo. 15$ lunch special super difficult to turn up!

Now, listen, dunno if your chef was hungover or wut, but both the steak and chips hadn't been seasoned. You did kindly give us extra salt, but that simply doesn't cut the mustard compared to seasoning food in the kitchen! Season your meals and you'll get ?????

RATING FOR VEGETARIAN FOOD OPTION

I like The Paddo, but last night was the first time I have decided to eat there, and given I don't eat meat, my options were very slim in deed, down to 2 options in fact.

So after choosing baked eggplant for $22, with a side of mash $5, I was looking forward to getting stuck into it.

Upon my dinners arrival to the table, it became apparent that I had obviously made a poor choice. The Paddo didn't lie, they literally served up an eggplant, that had been cut in half and stuck in the oven for 25 minutes. In an attempt to build some value into this $22 dish, they had added a layer of cheese and some tomatoes to the top and a drizzle of dressing. very, very disappointing! and I felt that I had been ripped off somewhat.

My friends and I could not get our heads around how this was priced.

Were our expectations too high?

One things for sure, I wouldn't recommend ever dining here if you don't eat meat.

What a crackin venue! Really upbeat vibe. No dramas! Pumping energetic atmosphere, with a contemporary pub feel. The staff are super easy going and helpful. Fast friendly service! $13.5 for a guinness was a bit to swallow... but it was a great night!

You have lots of options for beer here but there is nothing special. We got blue Hawaiian cocktail which wasn't really good, basically $1 pineapple juice whit little amount of rum

Absolutely disgusted by the service we had here last Friday night. Ordered steak medium, got rare, was bouncing all over the plate. Sent it back, took ten minutes to come back, looked like they just put some fresh sauce on it. Was cold and still looked raw. Sent it back again but decided to cancel the order as I was concerned what would happen to it after seeing (what u now know was the manager) stealing a cutlet off someone's plate as it was being taken out to be served. Absolutely disgusting! We complained to the manager about my steak to which I was told that I was wrong about my steak and that it was cooked medium the second time (funny considering I was the one cutting into it). He then told me that I was offered anything else in the menu (which I wasn't, I was only offered a bowl of chips). But apparently I was mistaken again. Clearly this manager has never heard of the saying "the customer is always right". How dare he tell me I'm incorrect when he wasn't present at any of the times mentioned. Not to mention his disgusting display of taking a cutlet of someone's plate and then ducking into the kitchen. Will never eat here again. Staff were generally nice but the manager was something else

Good beers on tap and lots of drink options. Meals were ok, nachos pretty ordinary, and when bar ordered and put through a main size instead of requested entree size, she wouldn't fix the error and it wasn't worth arguing. Some tables had younger kids with them and this felt appropriate in this situation. Great night out.

The current $15 lunch special is going to be pretty hard to beat. Perfectly cooked 200g rump steak, great chips, above average salad, good pepper sauce, and most of all excellent service staff. Thanks for lunch guys. One star off for smoking area stinking up the air on a beautiful day. Will be back for sure.

Nice outdoor seating area, dog friendly which is a big plus in my books, food is pretty good, have been a few times.

The only thing I don't recommend is the pizza, it was terrible actually, very sloppy and doughy base, I couldn't eat it before it was disintegrating. I think the wrong type of dough, it was literally turning back into dough on my plate, it was not equipped to deal with toppings, worst pizza I've had in ages.

Other than the terrible pizza I really like this place and go semi regularly.

No hard feelings but please for the love of pizza sort out a new base!

It was a lovely ambiance, my Family and I had a good time, their service was excellent.

Without a doubt the worst food Ive had at a Brisbane pub. It is incomparably bad. But at least it was expensive too. When they remodelled the place to feel like a domestic airport I didnt realise they were also going to be serving airplane quality food. Writing off the paddo after this performance.

went to the Sit Down Comedy Club for a work function and it was awesome have a great time

Came here for dinner with a large group of friends. The meals were well priced and surpassed our expectations in both size and quality. The band playing live music was great. The gaming room was clean with a good variety of pokie machines. Had a reasonable win. All in all a good night!

Fabulous night at the Comedy Club my first time. Great food, awesome service. Hilariously funny acts, enjoyed it so much may make it a regular thing.
