Such a beautiful spot for lovely meal. The inside is beautiful but you need to sit outside to appreciate the view as the sun goes down. Was pleasantly surprised at the number of vegan options. The hummus platter was excellent, as was the cauliflower popcorn special and grilled eggplant (although I felt that needs like a mash potato to be a bit more hearty), the wild rice salad was good although maybe a bit under cooked and while the grilled pineapple wasn't my favourite I again really appreciated that there were decent and beautifully presented vegan-friendly options. All up spent $110 with a schooner of Guinness and we rolled out. The service was similarly nice and attentive. Definitely will come back.

Great pub. The missus and I love their share plates, plenty of great food in a great atmosphere. Been at least 10x in 6mths. Always fantastic!

As seen on Postcards this place does not disappoint we had the chargrilled chicken and it was amazing. The staff were friendly and accommodating and the hotel itself is a reminder of yesteryear. We will be back.

Rustic little pub situated on the edge of a mountain with stunning views. It gives a small community vibe where everyone knows everyone and are all very welcoming.
The meals are on the pricier side, however you get what you pay for. For instance the $29 Parma was BIG and you got chips and salad included too.
Great for functions as they have a room at the back overlooking the countryside.

This is an amazing place. Me and my dad arrived at 4:50 and left at 5:50, because we only had a little starter. As soon as we stepped in, a waitress came up to us and offered us a table. We sat down, and we were given a menu. The two of us decided on the Italian Meatballs and Garlic Bread (see below) ,because we were only a little bit hungry. Whilst I was waiting for my starter, I took some photos outside (see below). I came back to our table, and we ate our starter. It was delicious! I loved this place!

Fantastic pub, warm and welcoming, friendly staff and delicious food! The pub has a real country feel to it, the food was outstanding. I had the 300g scotch fillet, cooked to perfection, and the brussel sprouts on the side were something else!! My partner went with the chicken parma, and it was a well presented, juicy, and tasty parma and the little fella opted for the spaghetti Neapolitana for $12 was a massive serve with a soft drink and a nice touch with the colouring in / puzzle kids menu.

Well done! Top service, Will return & reccomend!

This pub is really something else. The food was incredible. While the menu seems to offer standard pub food, the quality and taste of the dishes were exceptional. The chargrilled chicken was so moist, the best chicken I've ever tasted. My partner had high praise for the brisket burger. Really wholesome food and ambience, can't beat the views either! Will definitely be back to taste more of the menu.

What a grouse venue! we took a chance for Easter Sunday lunch without a booking? Luck on our side, the venue room, and a seat to savour what was to come. The Hotel on the Main Rd has 3 big carparks off rd and gravel, but well maintained. The pub is very well appointed inside, buzzing atmosphere, lots of welcoming staff eager to serve, the menu is designed for all tastes, pub favourites and the unexpected. The highlight is the shared slow cooked lamb shoulder to share. The price is up there, but the quality and flavour, falling apart, tender lamb, chat potatoes, and garlic baby beans, what an experience. Do yourself a favour, load up the family book a table, and have a fantastic meal.

A nice "country pub" experience; large venue with heaps of outdoor seating, but still books out. Good food and drinks. Wouldn't come here for a gourmet experience, but on a warm evening it's a great place for a casual get-together. There's a nice playground to keep the kids entertained and out of your hair.

Tonight we discovered this hidden gem tonight! No idea why we didn't come here sooner, the staff were friendly and welcoming. The outside area was gorgeous & so nice to see kids having fun.
The buffalo wings and the brisket were incredible!
This will be our go to restaurant. Thanks guys!!

We couldn't believe how busy it was for a random Wednesday night. We loved the dog friendly option of being able to sit in the bar however it was far too busy so we sat in the outdoor dining area instead.

The menu has a bit of everything and should cater to most.

The steak was flavoursome and cooked to perfection. The side of brussel sprouts rather than standard salad or veg was odd but also surprisingly tasty. We enjoyed it!

The cheesy garlic bread was also a hit and the serving size was very generous.

Visited Panton Hill Hotel on the recommendation of a local, and was not disappointed at all. The staff were great, service was quick, food was delicious (chicken wings were fantastic!), alcohol was well priced and we could even take away our leftovers. Great location, plenty of off street parking on either side of the Hotel and extremely popular with the locals. If you get a chance, check out the lovely stained glass window towards the front of the Hotel (not in the pictures here)

Bloody fantastic. Delicious food, chilled out vibes and very reasonably priced. Highly recommend the beef brisket it just melted in our mouths. Also the antipasto board is amazing value for money. Wish we lived closer so we could go more. Can't wait to go back one day!

Food was nicely presented but very average. Reheated chicken parma, not cooked fresh. And very oily fish. Chips not that hot either.
Staff were not attentive with no table service or seeing you to your table, but very friendly when you did talk to them. Atmosphere is comfortable with nice tables and chairs, although quite loud.
If I could choose the rating more accurately I'd give it a 3.8!

The food is above 5 star and whilst having a simple looking menu the quality and presentation is jaw droppingly awesome and well worth a visit. Excellently priced for such quality and beautiful location.
The service is excellent and happy to serve.
Do yourselves a favour book and go.

Great customer service. Great pub food. Perfect for all the family -- we visited for Mother's Day with an eight-year-old and an eighty-year-old! Will definitely be back.

Good food, great friendly service even though busy today (Sunday Lunch - booking if you want favourite seating). First time back for a decade. Once a weekly meal, (I moved to the west), so pleasantly delighted to find quality, taste,service all the same. Place has been updated (probably ba few years ago, more seating for diners) live music now outside (under cover) outside extended grounds so kids have room to run and enjoy.

Wanted to come here for a long time. Finally on a perfect, sunny Monday we were able to enjoy some classic fish and chips. First rate food and service. Great outdoor seating. Will be back.

Food was fantastic except for my main meal. Apart from that every thing was perfect i told the manager i wasnt happy with it and he instantly refunded the cost of my meal and comped me a pint of beer. Couldn't be happier with the customer service. I'll definitely be back, if your local or swinging past like I did randomly stop by grab a feed you won't be dissapointed
Cant recommend this place highly enough ? wish other places followed the Standard that this place has.

Never fails to deliver. Relaxed atmosphere. Lovely staff. Super kind and attentive. Great pub food that is a blessing for my belly. Space for the kids to run their sillies out whilst we can enjoy our meal. Then there is the occasional entertainment. Winning. We had a kid free night out recently and loved our little spot in the corner to kick back and take in the serenity. Thank you. Will continue to support this "local" pub.

What an absolute treasure of a pub. I haven't been here since I was a little kid. But since then it has had such a massive makeover and it is gorgeous. The interior is lovely with all the character of an old pub with modern touches. Clean and nicely renovated toilets. The back deck and lawn is fabulous. Great basic play area for the kids. Our visit was spur of the moment but it has left us excited to go back with family. The meals were also great. It's not a cheap pub, but you get what you pay for.
