Nice peacful location just out of town. Staff were great, accomodation was clean and comfortable. Buffet breakfast is good value however for the price the better coffee should be included and not at an extra charge. Best thing about the resort was that we could take our dog with us.

310 for a decent room a little dated but way over priced. Didn't include breakfast they were too lazy. They charged 80 for a small dog. Dog friendly? There's a reason all the motels were full and this was near empty

I travelled with my daughter. She was working at a wedding,so we just stayed overnight. She's also pregnant so I wanted a lovely & comfortable place for us to stay. Parklands did not disappoint. I was really impressed. If I wanted to knit pick I would have liked a small microwave in the room but we did have use of the one in the laundry. And the log looking beside table was too small for a sleep apnea machine & other things. Catering & cleaning staff were particularly lovely.

We booked into the glamping accommodation. It was our first time glamping, and we were very impressed. It's ??'? amazing. I had the best nights sleep in years. The staff were incredibly knowledgeable and attentive. Breakfast was to die for. Everything was extremely fresh and beautifully presented. Highly recommend Parklands Resort and Glamping.

Beautiful clean well presented room. We stayed with our 2 babies and 2 dogs. We travel often with our dogs and if dogs are welcomed usually the room is set up to have them, not situated in the middle of all the rooms so as to trigger the dogs to bark from all the comings and goings of other guests. I say this more as a concern for the comfort of other guests because the rooms are not very soundproof.

I give a rating for poor service due to the treatment from reception. My husband called early in the morning to see if there was any possibility of early check in given travel with kids and pets is tricky to find places to stop to wait for check in times. He was informed that we could check in at 1pm and he was then faced with attitude when we arrived at 1pm. The room was already cleaned and set up for us so why give us a hard time over a single hour when the room was cleaned and ready?

Great place. Family suites are large with lots of open space.

Super clean rooms and bathrooms.

Only complaint would be that the rooms facing the car park are hard to keep dark due to the walkway lights and not the best blinds.

On the Ulan Rd which is a main Rd out of town, it was easy to find, the grounds are lovely. But if you want to be in the vineyards, this might not be the place for you.
The room we had was large with two king single beds. Cars are parked around the back, enabling large windows and doors to have beautiful views of the gardens.
The restaurant was booked out the night we arrived. So I can't offer a review on food.
Checking in and out was easy and brief with the staff being pleasant both times.

This is a premium stay with rooms oversized and presented so beautifully. 5 min to the city of Mudgee provides convenience. The breakfasts are also great in the on site restaurant. The front gardens would also provide a lovely backdrop for special occasion photos. I had a studio room which was just amazing.

The room was large and clean and it's close to Mudgee Town Centre so very handy. However the staff need some serious training on how they welcome guests. They were lazy, unhelpful, unwelcoming. They weren't interested in explaining what they had on offer or where facilities were. I expected better given the price I paid. We asked for a late checkout and were refused point blank with no good excuse aside that they were having to get the room cleaned for check in... 5 hours later. Anyway, it was a bad experience and I don't tend to write reviews but next time I'll pass and get a local air b n b instead

Great family rooms with kitchenette, ensuite in the master and second bathroom. Garden views.
Vinyl lounge was in quite a state of disrepair.

I do not recommend this business.

Firstly, writing negative reviews for businesses is not something I would normally do. However, I contacted the resort a week ago in regards to my concerns and did not receive a response.

We stayed at Parklands on Easter Saturday to Easter Monday. Upon arrival we were provided a sheet with their reduced reception hours (understandable).

When we checked into our room, we discovered thick layers of dust on the bed side tables, which I would assume would be an area cleaned before check-in. As our son has a severe dust allergy, we needed to clean this ourselves and vacate the room for a few hours, so as not to induce a reaction.

On Easter Monday, everyone needed showers before we checked out. There was no hot water at all in our room. My husband went to reception which was scheduled to open at 8am (according to the sheet provided), but no the shutters were down and no one was answering the phones. This was at 8.30am.

Whilst I understand that things happen in large resorts, I am most bothered the fact that no one replied to my concerns. This venue was the most expensive of choices available on this weekend and I would assume, a clean room and hot water were basics. Failing that, at least responding to your customers.

Finally, I appreciate that this place is dog friendly, but I would suggest having policies around this, ie having pets on a leash on site. Having dogs charge/barking at small children who have opened the room verandah door is unsafe and could easily be traumatic for some guests.

I've stayed here 4 times now for work and I am always really happy with it. Rooms are clean and spacious, the bed is comfortable. The service is great. I love walking around in the gardens and sitting outside having a drink in the outdoor dining area while the sun goes down. The food has always been nice but there is a new menu- I ordered the mushroom linguine and it was delicious. The pool and spa are clean and pleasant. It's also walking distance to Mudgee. Definitely recommend.

A apt named resor . Spent a couple of nights here in a beautifully large well appointed room surrounded by well maintained gardens. The Restaurant supplied tasty breakfast and dinners.
The staff were friendly and welcoming. Totally recommend this place.

We stayed here for 2 nights. Rooms were quite big, clean and comfortable. We had breakfast and dinner at the restaurant which was good too. The hotel is fairly close to the Mudgee town centre and also has a pool, spa and laundry facilities. Staff were very friendly. Overall great stay.

The staff were very friendly and lovely. The grounds were also lovely. Unfortunately the room was not as great as we would have liked as we had to be changed because they put us in a room with only one bed and the next room we were in were meant to have 2 king singles but they were just normal single beds.

This resort was perfectly located for a dirt bike weekend at Louee. Beautiful gardens for the kids to run around and plenty of parking for the trailer. Also had a pool, spa, sauna and gym that was fantastic. The restaurant was a disappointment for the cost, the steaks we got were precooked and had no taste. But the local food delivery's are available and the local club courtesy buses will pick you up. Be prepared for buses turning up at very early hours in the morning, maybe we were unlucky but 4:30am with buses idling and people chatting while meeting up you wont need an alarm clock. After a 3 night stay and room being serviced daily we get home and a day later get a credit card charge for chocolates missing from the mini bar on our last night. As I explained to Andrew and Depesh, we are like most people and move all drinks and snacks aside as they are such a rip off.(1 chocolate bar = 2 bags of chocolate bars from Woolworths). We bring our own refreshments and snacks. Anyway we were charged for 3 bars and just made a sour finish to a great weekend of dirt bike riding. What I don't understand is the previous mornings room service there were no mention of these items? I will have to get back to counting every item as we arrive at Hotels again as I have caught many out. Would I stay here again, yes.

Attended our Sons year 12 formal last last night. Absolutely disgusted. For $96 per head it was not worth the money at all. When the canapes went around our table only got offered 2 types. The mains my husband had to ask for mine as they didn't bring one. The chicken was tough as was the beef. Beef was undercooked. Then when it came to desserts our table never even received it. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Price was ridiculous for what little we did receive and service was terrible.
The rooms are pet friendly, but the resort is not. If you have a pet you are not able to utilise the restaurant facilities when there is rain or cold weather. There is no shelter and no heating provided. When we complained a substandard heater was lit and because there is no covered area the heat rose up into the freezing night sky. We had early stages of hypothermia by the end of dinner, which we had to hurry due to the cold. We were unable to have any breakfast because of the rain. I would not recommend this place if you have a pet. I feel their pet friendly label is a gimmic to price gouge innocent travellers. $400 to sleep the night but not be able to use the resort facilities is too much. Travellers be warned there are better pet friendly places to stay in Mudgee.

We visited obly for dinner The lady who met us was quite rude and just pointed us to the table. It took once our order food order was taken we were told I dont do drink orders and then walked off. The other waitress said she will be back to take our drink orders. Had to ask her 3 time and in the end never had our drinks taken. Our meals took 45 min to arrive and then it was nothing special. Salmon was well and truly over cooked and our medium steak was pretty much well done.

Would not recommend if this is the standard.

I found myself without accommodation when my booked and paid for accommodation didn't leave a key and i was locked out, alone in Mudgee at 830pm with no after hours contact and everywhere else in town and surrounds booked out. I called Parklands, and they were absolutely amazing, juggling a few things to provide their last room, and even ensuring i had a meal although the kitchen had closed. I cant thank them enough for rescuing me at a very stressful time.

Not as good as the photos look.
Our room needed a good dusting, and the walls are paper thin - you could hear everything from the next room.
It will be fine if it's your last resort :) but if you can, spend an extra $100 a night and stay at one of the lovely local Airbnb's ... We wish we had done that

Worst customer service!
Arrived exhausted from travel and sent away just get face mask from the store, because I do not have one. So,how about providing one each unto your guest to be more welcoming? Unfortunately no Dinner is served too.

We stayed for 1 night in their dog-friendly room and, overall, we had a good experience. The room was clean and modern, and the bathroom was really nice. The outside look of the resort is also quite pretty.

We really liked being able to borrow from the reception some tennis rackets & balls to play on their tennis court the morning before our check-out. And the breakfast buffet was okay for $25/pers (not the freshest food but not that bad).

It doesn't really look like a resort, and it was a bit pricey for what it is (we paid $279/night, incl. the $80 extra to have a dog in the room), but they do have some amenities.

We did not use the sauna/spa/swimming pool but we had a look and they seem okay (not super clean but not horrible, they were actually quite crowded on a Thursday). We also saw the small gym which seemed quite good.

We felt lucky during our stay as nothing went wrong but we heard that the guests next door had some mice in their room (which I realised after our stay that it was quite common from reading other Google reviews). Knowing this makes us less desirous to come back, but hopefully, it is a problem they will soon deal with.

Not to bad for the price, but not a 'resort' Rooms aren't to bad, however for a two bedroom to have a fold out bed was a bit of a disappointment. Was informed of the restaruant being closed so that's a bonus. Quite accommodating and friendly staff. Also had my dog in one of the dog friendly rooms.

Pleasant surroundings and nice room. The staff were very helpful, thank you Tracey for arranging a courtesy bus to take us into Mudgee to celebrate our anniversary. We also found the ladies who cleaned our room to be friendly and obliging with any requests. We would have liked to experience the restaurant but realise times have been tough..maybe next time😊

This place calls itself a 'resort'. The room was fine however we were price gouged for a weekend event in the area. And then didn't receive what was advertised and claimed on their website. Only after checking in did we discover that the majority of their amenities that were selling points, and the reason we booked, were not available. No restaurant, no sauna (both not mentioned as unavailable on web). We went to use the remaining amenities; pool and spa in the evening BEFORE the advertised close time only to find ourselves locked out and off limits. Not acceptable. Paid top dollar for a place with no amenities. Deceptive advertising and quite frankly feel ripped off. You won't receive our, our families or our friends referred business. We expect a lot more from an ACCOR owned business.
