Parklands Resort - Pub in Putta Bucca New South Wales

The room was attached to the building and was very generous in size, with a king size bed, lounge area and large bathroom.
All the fixtures and amenities were clean, modern and well maintained.
A large shared balcony overlooked a pond and had views of the surrounding farms and distant mountains.
Staff were more than pleasant and the resort overall was very well maintained. Even features a disc golf course!
The only mild letdown is that walking to town along the main road is not practical, but the onsite bar and restaurant were perfect.

I could not get over how friendly and helpful everyone was working at this hotel, the reception, the cafe, the maid, and the groundkeeper were all super helpful, friendly, and talkative, and made us feel very welcome. They got me ice every day for my drinks flask and gave helpful tips on where to go for the day.

The downsides were that the pool was freezing cold and the water in the urn for tea and coffee at breakfast always seemed to be warm rather than boiling, so meant mediocre breakfast drinks every day. And the rooms are loud, paper-thin walls and the doors slam hard so if there are other families around you then don't plan to get any sleep before midnight.

But overall it was a great stay for us, and we will definitely be back if we can.

A nice hotel resort to stay at when in Mudgee. The rooms are large and clean. Good air conditioning.
The complex is getting older now which can be seen in different places. It has a lovely outlook over ponds and green gardens.
The complex has a bar and restaurant although it was fairly quiet when I was there.

Beautiful resort. We were lucky as checking in was delayed only by ten minutes. Another family had to wait for at least half an hour as their room was not cleaned yet. They were short of staff!
We only stayed for two nights and really did not require room cleaning. I went out and saw the cleaners and requested this gorgeous young girl/lady for a couple teabags. She was very busy cleaning up rooms. I then rang reception but was on hold for at least 15 mins to request some ice to help the soreness for my hip and thigh. I gave up waiting on the phone. I then went out to ask the same young lady, Storm if she could get me some ice. In no time Storm came back with a bucket of ice. I was most impressed with her service despite she was so busy cleaning the rooms at almost 5 pm. Thank you Storm. This ice wrapped with a face towel helps me to ease the pain. And this is for this reason I gave five star for excellent service.

We arrived at the Resort just after 3:00pm to check-in. We were so tired that we just needed to have a quick nap. Housekeeping knocked on our door then straight away opened our bedroom door! What if we weren't decent? Just to drop 2 bottles of water. We decided to check the 'gym' my goodness I don't know why they called it a gym? 3 standard equipments and one wasn't even working! It's the tiniest gym I've ever seen! Don't be fooled!
