Best pub in Northcote!
Visited this pub many times over many years and it never disappoints!
This visit we grabbed the Beer Battered Whiting with Chips, salad and tartare sauce,
Karaage Chicken Bites and the Truffle and Porcini Mushroom Arancini to share.
As usual the food was awesome.
The staff here are always friendly and the beer garden out back is second to none.
A definite must visit!

Competent pub grub: the Southern Fried Eggplant Burger was nice but not outstanding.
Will certainly return to explore their "Themed" food menus when we can.

$15 for a steak is amazing value and the steak wasn't a cheap cut - very tasty, tender and cooked perfectly! Waitress seemed a bit overwhelmed. I ordered a wine to go with my steak which never came. I'd definitely go again though

Enjoyable Wednesday family night. We sat in the sports lounge. Enjoyed the fire and pinball machine. Lovely steak and seafood penne pasta special. Staff were accommodating. Caution: tap in bathroom runs scolding hot in the hot posotion.
