Went here for dinner and wow! Huge range of meal choices and big servings. Well priced. Delicious as well.
Spacious with lots of places to sit and a huge kids room with plenty of things to keep them entertained.
Will definitely return next time I'm in Shep.

We were staying in Shepparton on the weekend and were looking for a pub to watch the afl. After trying 6 pubs who all had tech issues and could show Foxtel we ended up here. Staff were very accomodating and put the game on and even put it on the big screen with sound which was great.
Has a great kids area and we stayed and had a great dinner. Huge serves of food which was all good. If we ever are in town again we will be returning.

Staff: At restaurant ordering section 10/10 (wish we knew the lady's name so we could give her a boquet).
At bar: 4/10... young, curt and disinterested... but the interaction was brief. Still, it's the small things.
Overall, highly recommended for business, couples and families (huge indoor kids area).

Was a great stay, only ruined by a group of ferals who were extremely loud until nearly midnight, as well as smoking outside my unit and the smell came in, coughing like they were dying in the morning was the topper

I stayed here for a wedding and customer service from the staff, especially Leah was amazing! She was so friendly, nice and offered to drop us off to the wedding venue. Highly recommended and so impressed. Thanks for a lovely stay Peppermill and Leah.

Had a great Saturday night out with my partner, we are locals and we both really enjoyed our meals, great options on a variety of meals and they were so huge!
I had a chicken parmagana, which is pictured, service was very good and friendly, plenty of options for seating inside or outdoors undercover or out in the open.
Looking for a great night out and awesome meal this is the place to go.

It is a lovely place for a family Christmas get-together. The food was really nice, good variety, and at a reasonable price. We stayed for 4 hours, and the staff didn't want us out earlier. Great indoor and outdoor areas and ideal for families with young children, too.

I have attended this venue on many occasions over the years normally pretty good meals and friendly staff.
Unfortunately on my last visit 01/12/23
We experienced the worst service and food we have ever had.
Staff did not clear tables in a timely manner lots of empty glasses and our meals were terrible pizza undercooked and barely warm enough and other meals arrived cold!! When this was mentioned to the staff member clearing our table she really didn't acknowledge our concerns.
We won't be back.

From the first phone call to make a motel booking to the second call arranging an early check in, Leah and the team at PepperMill have been not just hospitable and accommodating but down right friendly. The family vibe resonated with us and then came the offer to pick us up from the Shepparton airstrip when we landed "just give me a call when you touch down". That sort of old fashioned service is hard to find these days.
We'll be back for sure!! The rooms were lovely, clean, freshly renovated and even the cleaners were supremely friendly.

Can't rate this venue more highly.

Took the 100+ father in law and his 93yr old friend to Peppermill last Monday. Good quiet seating location for folk whose hearing is not so good. The staff and customer service was great and the menu extensive and reasonably priced. We had a great time. Thanks Peppermill...

Cosy and clean at a good price. Close to Shepparton CBD so it's convenient. There's a bistro restaurant next door for a meal too. Friendly hospitality and service. Overall, good place to stay for work trip.

Great pub, heaps of sitting area. They were doing a roaring trade on a Saturday night and I was very impressed our food came out quickly.

Not many veggie options, but made do with bruschetta and chips!

Nice place and good service, Raymond from Bulgaria deserves a pay rise the hospitality and service he offered was second to none. I would be happy to come back, also try the steak sandwich off the menu was probably the best I have tried in Australia

Sadly we had a Funeral Wake at Peppermill Inn but the reception from the Staff and their efficiency was exceptional. The food was delightful and the Bar Service very good. All in all for a sad day we were well look after

Seems like they change the chef and menu since the last time we came here a month ago. we're 6 people come last night and the food call Nasi gorang wAs disgusted and I couldn't eat it all. The waitress ask me if i need a box to bring home but I said No and said thanks to her as it's not her fault.
The steak and reef were big dishes but chewy, we called 3 lamb shanks and they were too salty.
We like the playground for children and always come here as it's close to our house in Kialla but won't come back anymore.

The hotel service is good but the pub service was rude and not welcoming at all. The rooms are ok but to expensive and while I was out at the pub there was a little kid and one of the staff members picked up the child and took the child to his mum when all he was doing was walking around.the spaghetti was really sweet and I asked for a replacement meal and at first one of the staff members told me ' some people like it and some people don't'(the manager)and than walked off. And the manager wouldn't even give me a replacement meal so I went to another member of staff which who was really nice and gave me a replacement a meal but for the price it wasn't good and the fish was cold and that couldn't even make a proper salad

We had my grandfathers 90th birthday function, our bartender shannah was absolutely amazing, nothing was to much trouble, she was friendly and happy to help where she could. The function room was perfect, very clean, meals were lovely, and staff super friendly. Thanks so much!

Very disappointing the meals weren't good.
I had barra salad chips salad was all lettuce 1/2 a slice cucumber 1/4 wedge tomato and about 12 chips l started to eat fish had a mouth full then found hair on plate under fish. My friend had seniors snitty chips the snitty was a 1/4 piece of snitty cut off a large piece.
At least at other pubs you get a whole snitty but a little smaller than a full one.
Won't be going back there again most disappointing.

Its a beautiful place. I had garlic prawns with salad. It was really nice.
The staff were polite and very helpful.
Had no problems with my wheelchair. Plenty of room for me to get around.

We had a large booking of 25 on a Saturday night - they placed us on 3 tables in a corner area inside which was fine but only 1 table had arrived before wait staff came to ask if we had ordered and take away menus which was inappropriate given the amount of people still to arrive.
Meals arrived fairly quickly given long waits on previous visits. The food itself was great.
Wait staff on the floor were rude and took meals and drinks before they were finished (didn't even ask if they could take them or if they were done) - didn't apologise or offer to replace once we informed them (on more than one occasion).
We specifically chose this venue as we had children in attendance and the great play area they have - only to get there and discover that there is only 1 climbing tower/slide and machines that you have to pay to use.
We definitely won't be returning in a hurry

Leah was absolutely awesome, so friendly and welcoming. The venue was beautiful and clean. Motel room was spotless with no complaints at all. Food was beautiful. All in all we absolutely loved our stay. Leah it's people like you who make our holidays that much better ?

Gathering for a family birthday celebration, service was fantastic, all meals were great. Forgot to grab a serrated knife for the steak sandwich but wasn't required, could have cut it with a wooden spoon, delicious! Chips were a small let down, little doughy and soft, gotta love a crunchy chip. Desserts were all nice, sticky date was a favourite. Kids all worn out in the play area ;) Great venue.

Were treated poorly by the bar staff, asked if we could have a fresh glass of wine as the one we received tasted flat. We were told 'that's what that wine tastes like if you want something bubbly try champagne', they obviously did not offer a replacement. Won't be back

Food was really nice, ordered fish and chips and was very satisfied and the place had a very nice vibe. Just with the lasagna that my sister ordered, not sure why but it was really sweet. We had the same experience with the pasta sauce when we went a few years ago being too sweet, not sure why it was. Other than that very nice place :)

I've frequently stayed here when traveling for work prior to the pandemic and I must say, the newly renovated rooms blew me away when I checked in most recently.
Very modern, clean and tidy, stylish renovated bathrooms.
The overall feel of the rooms is phenomenal.
Rooms have a mini bar, microwave, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, iron & ironing board.
Extremely convenient when on the road.

The receptionist was lovely. I went to the bar to ask the bar man something, not only did he ignore me for a while when he decides to acknowledge me he says" what do you want" and then was just a bit of a smart arse to be honest... Other places are more friendly I'm sure.

Great place to stay. Motel manager was extremely nice & very accommodating. Rooms very clean, comfortable bed, all the extras, microwave, iron, h/dyer, drinks in fridge & a nice size room. Bistro meal was excellent & very good helping of food. Pokies & a bar, with live music the night we stayed(Saturday). They also had a courtesy bus to take our group of 6 to a local venue. Highly recommend this Motel.

Had an a awesome meal (lambs fry and bacon and salt and pepper calamari). Highly recommend.

Went to one of the reception rooms at the rear of the place. Parking was easy and ample. The room was very basic but served the purpose. Easy access to a toilets. There was a courtyard and we were able to sit in the sun and watch the small planes prepare to land at the air strip straight out the back. Food was appropriate and they coped well with both vegetarian and vegan guests.

The food is exceptional, ice cold drinks, great friendly, helpful staff! Wouldn't recommend anywhere else for a couple/family meal.

I recently stayed at the Peppermill inn when I was in Shepperton for work and I really enjoyed my time there. We were only in town for the night so I didn't get to check out most of the hotels facilities like the beer garden, which looked pretty awesome, but I did have dinner at the restaurant and stay in the hotel. The staff are lovely, cracking jokes and making you feel welcome, and the food is good. I had a classic Parma which was very tasty. the hotel room was quiet nice, great water pressure in the shower, decent air con and the bar fridge was actually cold. Overall, its a pretty good place. I highly recommend it if you are in town.

The Peppermill is a lovely Bistro to take your family to eat. Its menu has all the pub classics as well as pizza and vegetarian options.We really liked the jumping castle in the kids room and the booth seating just outside so we could sit and watch the kids play. We didn't book and it was a little difficult to find someone to help get us a table and menus but after that the service was friendly and the food came out fast.The food itself was lovely, i think the kitchen staff should be really happy with the quality of food they serve, we certainly enjoyed it.All in all it was a really enjoyable lunch and we will certainly be returning again.
