Wow, Peppers Silo Launceston really knocks it out of the park! Right from the get-go, the place makes a stunning impression with its sleek design blending old industrial vibes with new, chic touches. The rooms? They're not just rooms; they're spacious retreats crafted to spoil you rotten - think plush and perfect!

But let me tell you about Archie, the hotel dog. This furry little guy is an absolute delight and adds such a fun, homely feel to the whole experience. Definitely the goodest of good boys!

The folks working here are super friendly and genuinely warm. They make you feel welcome from the moment you step in, helping with anything you need, always with a smile.

Location-wise, you're all set. It's right in the heart of Launceston, making it super easy to hop around town.

I also hosted a workshop in their Town Point function room, and it went off without a hitch, thanks to the phenomenal team. Courtney was a dream to work with in setting everything up - clear, concise, and super organised. Jacinta and Jack were on the ball during the event, always there when needed but never in your face.

And, oh my, the food! Hats off to the kitchen crew and the Chef. We were treated to an incredible spread of Australian seafood, including Mirror Dory and Boomer Bay oysters. A true celebration of Tasmanian seafood. The room service is great too. I can recommend the gnocchi.

I recommend Peppers Silo in a heartbeat! Whether you're planning a special event, a business trip, or just a relaxed getaway, this place will exceed your expectations. A big thank you to everyone at Peppers Silo for making my stay unforgettable!

Very spacious rooms, great view, helpful staff. However, the walls are very thin, everything can be heard from the next room. We had to listen to sexual moaning for a bit. Then as if it was not enough they had to go again in the morning. Thank goodness he was really quick.

Grains restaurant was a real disappointment. The menu is very limited and when asked if they could do something a little different at breakfast, we were told that they could not do an omelet as it would make the staff to busy. The cost of breakfast was ridiculous. Just for scrabble eggs was $16.00. Then for 3 strips of bacon was an extra $12.00. It was nothing special to be paying those prices. On top of that 15% surcharge for a public holiday.

The worst part about the restaurant, there was no heating at all. This is the second time that the restaurant was colder than the South Pole. What ever it is they need to get it fixed. The staff are running around all rugged up like they are working on the South Pole. Clearly there is a problem that the management don't way to fix.

I expect 3 things when stating at an Accor property.

1 value for money. With the cost of the grain restaurant there is no value at all.

2. Friendly staff. The staff are really great.

3. Location. Very close to everything.

We recently had a driving holiday around Tasmania and stayed at Pepper's Silo!
We were lucky enough to have a silo room on the top floor!
This property is really a something to see, and the rooms are so beautifully done.
They are well designed for a circular space!
The view over Launceston from the balcony was really beautiful! We had dinner at the onsite restaurant, the food is spectacular, and the staff here were really fantastic, we chatted with them all at dinner and breakfast and found them to be really interested in our holiday and really proud of their little perfect place in the world.
The Silo is such a different accommodation, and sadly we only had 1 night here.
But we will be back, to enjoy this pretty cool place and all that it offers! Remember, people also make the place, and we found it here!!

Went to Silos for a surprise birthday and stayed two nights. Launceston and surrounds is such a lovely place to visit . Staying at Silos made our days away. The rooms, dining and relaxing areas was an absolute treat. Architecturally so interesting and our views on the 6th floor outstanding. Food beautiful.

Planning to return and stay again. A great spot for a long weekend or a place to walk about exploring the buildings, history and natural beauty of this city and surrounds.

Recommend a stay at Silos if you're able.

We recently stayed for 3 nights and it was such a pleasant stay. The room was large, and from the 5th floor we had a beautiful river view. The bed was really comfortable. The staff provided great service and the restaurant had delicious food for dinner. We would definitely stay again.
What a wonderful hotel! From check in to check out the service was amazing and the room had a beautiful lux feel. The giant adventure park next door was a big child-friendly tick. It was a bit weird that the room had no kitchen sink or dining table but other than that it was a great stay.

Lovely view from the gorge room.
Rooms were spacious, clean and all amenities were provided.
Plenty of car parking spots
Staff were friendly and room service did a great job everyday
Nice decor both in the room and the shared lobby / lounge area
Gardens were well maintained

Good overall but quite pricey for what you get. There were no free inclusions except for a gym.
All services like the salon, spa and restaurant were extremely overpriced.
the aircon did not sufficiently heat the room during the day and the room constantly felt a little cold.
The soundproofing / noise insulation were very poor and you could hear a full conversation from the surrounding rooms.
The TV was slow, small and annoying to use.

Perfect hotel! One night stay. Upgrade on arrival. Beautiful Labrador roaming the reception area to greet people. The room was quite spacious, with a magnificent view over the river, The bathroom was large, but the floor tiles were slippery so be careful!
We included breakfast at the restaurant downstairs and real coffee and cooked breakfast was delicious to start the day!

Big room with a great history behind this hotel. Love the location. A little walk with Archie along side the Tamar river is a must
Absolute perfection. Visiting from rural Qld with our daughters who live in Hobart. 925am and I'm loving the comfort of the super King luxury bed. No rush.

Highly recommend. We shall return again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! The rooms were great, the service was good. The room service didn't have the biggest menu but overall wasn't too bad. The Spa down stairs was lovely!

River view room was amazing, very friendly staff, took the hotel dog for a walk which was an absolute highlight for our 4 year old daughter! The restaurant called the grains was a 10/10 food and service excellent. The kids picking platter for $12 was a win for my daughter. It's also across the road from a brilliant kids playground.

Our week long event was a few months in the making and from start to finish, everyone we dealt with at Peppers Silo Hotel were so accommodating, professional and friendly! Accommodation, dinner, conference - all of it ran so smoothly! The staff definitely made my job so much easier and less stressful. Will definitely be looking at Peppers Silo Hotel for any future events.

very nice hotel big clean rooms. the missing one star is from the security. the side door close to the park was not locked during dark and a group of local teenagers sneak in to the hotel. felt a bit unsecure. please improve.

From the minute we walked through the door, we could tell it was special.
From the kind reception staff. Our room was superb.
But to top it of was the Grains of Silo restaurant. Dinner on Sunday night was superb.
Bonny was very professional, as was the whole team.
All up, we couldn't fault our stay
We think we have found our perfect place to stay in Launceston
Well done to everyone

Stayed here for three nights in a twin river room. The room itself is quite spacious and ideal for families. The food in the hotel restaurant was phenomenal! Absolutely delicious. Customer service staff at the lobby were always friendly and warm.
The only negative experience was housekeeping continuously not replenishing items, and us having to keep requesting this on a daily basis.
Overall, I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

The pictures of the hotel and rooms does not do justice to the facility. Rooms are large and well equipped. The restaurant on site, Grain, offers quality and well executed meals at reasonable prices. We stayed at this location for two nights during our recent visit to Tasmania and had two breakfasts and dinners at the Grain Restaurant. Highly recommended!

Lovely modern hotel, clean facilities and very spacious rooms. The location was very close to the Gorge and some great restaurants. We took advantage of most of the facilities including in-house restaurant. There is a gym but no pool. Breakfasts at the in-house restaurant are set menu (not buffet) and the hotel is kid friendly (there's even a HUGE playground next to the venue which is a bonus for kids). The only issue we had was the showers. The hot water would suddenly go cold, then hot again and would do this a couple of times during a shower. This happened multiple times to multiple members of our family (something that management should look into just in case anyone else is experiencing this). But overall definitely a lovely experience and would stay there again (assuming the showers were fixed of course). See photos attached including facilities, restaurant and surrounding areas for reference.

Had a fabulous stay. So glad we chose Pepper Silo. Very convenient location. The view was so beautiful overlooking the Tamar river. Room was super spacious and clean. Got warm reception, lovely welcome note, upgrade and welcome drinks too as Accor plus member -very happy with everything. Staff were always helpful and really friendly. Also the hotel has everything from the Grain of Silos restaurant to the Bar and Spa and it even has a Hair Salon. Can't recommend enough, will be back for our next trip to Launceston.

This property was recommended to us and we are so glad that we stayed here. The rooms and general areas are fantastic with the exposed concrete from the original silos visible. The rooms are very spacious and lovely. The bed was super comfortable. All staff were friendly and professional and made us feel very welcome. The best part of this hotel - however - is Archie the Hotel Dog! How is this not a thing all over the world? So lovely to get some doggy love while away from home. We can't wait to visit again.

Fantastic hotel! Very spacious room and bathroom. The view was also amazing! Hotel has a great lounge area to enjoy a coffee or glass of wine

Only criticism is that there is no where at the hotel to buy plastic bottled water for the day

Would definitely stay here again!
Great hotel for a great price. Views are amazing, rooms are modern and up to date and the food is very good. Seafood was fresh and service at the restaurant was on point. I'd stay here again without hesitation. Plenty of parking too
Surprise me in Tassie
Thanks to Azam and the hotel team for the incredible stay we had. It was the place my husband and I chose to celebrate his birthday; the staff were so helpful when helping me plan a little room surprise. The communication via email was fantastic, and the staff service was incredible; they were so respectful and friendly.
Thanks again to all the team for the incredible experience.

The food at the Grain restaurant was so good. My husband was so happy!

Fabulous quirky hotel. Firstly - the room is enormous. Not sure if this is a Tasmanian thing or if it is to accommodate for the silo. Super friendly and helpful staff, Archie (the dog) was such a wonderful surprise and the bed is super comfy. We had dinner at Grain - which I will review separately but I have to say it was divine!
