Stopped by on a Tuesday night for the first time for food. Staff were very helpful and the menu was very affordable (burger and chips $15) with food coming out quickly. Nice atmosphere. Only swan beer available on tap. Seating available outside, at bar or at dining tables. As it was winter they had a fire going outside. Unfortunately this was not where I was staying - I got mixed up with the Red Emu Motel - they are different places. Vegetarian burger available.

Typical country pub. The usual trophies on the wall. A juke box kept us entertained. Friendly staff.

Ordered T Bone and Chicken Schnitzel both with Diane Sauce. We had to wait for an hour, but that really didn't worry us. However, the result when it arrived was unimpressive and the sauce tasted nothing like Diane. They offered us an alternative sauce so we scraped off the orange muck and ate. (Could not eat the 'salad'). Tried to speak with a manager but they were busy. Fair enough. I'll review online.

If you're looking for a great country pub - go no further than The Perenjori Hotel. It's a good 3.5hr drive from Perth, so it's a stop-over on your way up to say Karrinjini. I have not stayed in the hotel rooms - but they have recently been refurbed. The pub offers a great scene full of farmers and country folk. The food is good pub grub too! I particularly LOVE the peppersauce steak. Portions are massive for those hungry people. It's a cosy and warm, they have a pool table and a juke box! Win Win!!

Perenjori Hotel is open Monday through Saturday from noon to midnight. They are also open Sunday from noon to 10 PM.
