Petrel Hotel - Pub in Geelong West Victoria

From what I'm told it's recently been renovated. I first came here on a quiet Monday afternoon and loved the retro feeling of the pub. John, behind the bar was so friendly, we ordered bar nibbles and they were so good especially the croquettes, which had shavings of lemon in them. Had a great afternoon there. Then on my second visit was on a Sunday night and again it's was just such a good experience, with cozy vibes, they had sports on, footy tripping on the wall and it just had a great Aussie pub atmosphere to it in my opinion and a bonus, no pokies. They have a restaurant at the back which looks fantastic, with a fireplace and decent spaced, sized tables. Then being a Pom, the Guinness on tap was pretty good. It's a win for me
