I will start off by saying that I did not experience any issues with the toilets as mentioned in some reviews. The place was very neat and tidy, a very comfortable space to chill in.

Food-wise, I really enjoyed the calamari, I think it was one of the best I have had, crunchy on the outside, perfectly cooked on the inside. The meat platter was huge, had a good variety of meat, but some of the souvlaki was a bit over, so a bit tough.

Overall, it was a good quiet environment that is perfect for a small gathering.

Everything you want in a pub! Went Wednesday night and it was a good vibe. Smells amazing as you walk in. We had the meat plates, calamari and the custard dessert.

Excellent Sunday evening quick family meal. The moussaka was delicious - each enough for two people to share. Perfect with an accompanying salad for a quick and satisfying late evening meal.

Greek inspired menu, with a mix of meat and vegetarian dishes. Very tasty overall, the guys at the bar were lovely, just more interested in their mobiles than the patrons. It was a quiet Sunday afternoon though.

Worth a visit. Relaxed warm atmosphere. Sime but pleasing menu backed up by a good offering of wine and ale. Food was fresh and tasty. Will definitely be going back.

Ordered on phone for roast lamb meal of $80, they served us a pice of lamb with only large amount of potatoes, a small bowl of simple salad of tomato and cucumber, nothing else in roast like just a few carrots or vege, some green salad leaves??? It is a meal of $40. Never go back and don't waste your money there

We had a lovely meal here and the vibe was excellent. The staff were friendly and attentive and the food was delicious. Will be back when in Woollahra again

1 of if not the worst pud ever, the manager/owner is rude to the point of embarrassment, & it reflects on the staff & amenities, the toilets stink. As a rule only 1/2 of the pub is usable, the rest is for the restaurant which is empty. Overly priced food, 1 out of 6 dishes I would eat again.Will not go back ??'???'???'???'???'???'?

Great pub for family and nice events. You have to go to the trivia on Tuesday at 7:30 it's a great time. Everyone is very friendly with dogs running around and great Greek food. Good for family events. A bit pricy but worth it. Amazing barramundi HAVE TO TRY. Also a nice little website to book.

Most of the staff are excellent, some a bit 'cool' as in 'I'm too cool to be friendly so I'll just be cool', (staff much better when Will the owner is around), food good, atmosphere great, no vices, high,y recommended.

The Phoenix is a fabulous local pub , cosy, delicious authentic Greek food, great wine list, service impeccable, fun for a lunch and dinner nothing is too much trouble for the awesome team there.

Waiter confused the order. Thought I said to share instead of same. Left a bit of a sour taste. The other meal came out 10 minutes later but was on the house. The Chicken Schnitzel was dry and the salad was a pile of rocket with dry chips. No sauce. You actually have to pay extra for a sauce. Place had no vibe. The waiter never returned to check if everything was okay given he had made the mistake. Spoilt the occasion a bit.

We love this place, it's our local and rarely disappoints. The food is high quality and consistent, there's a decent wine selection for a pub. The service is always friendly and generally quite good.

Went to the bar to order dinner and was told the kitchen received too many orders at once and had to stop serving meals as they are now too busy. Drinks are okay though. Unfortunately I'm after dinner, not a beer. It's Monday night and a $15 schnitzel special, with empty tables.

What a great find! Two functions had the place crowded out, but staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and look after us. Lamb cutlets were superb, and the Greek syrah complemented them perfectly. Will definitely be back to sample some more menu highlights.

We happen to be there for quiz night which was really well run and a good atmosphere created.

They were also serving $15 Gyros which were really tasty and the smoked paprika fries were SENSATIONAL!

They lose a star for the limited beer selection on tap and cans, but overall it was great and we'll be back.

Great discovery. A little bit of Greece, in an old pub, in Woollahra. A casual Greek menu with all the staples, properly cooked and served. We will definitely be back. Highly reccomended.

The food was ok. Not as authentic Greek as hoped. Quiet little pub though to meet with friends for food and chat.

Greek food, is always a little oily and charred. The meat platter was okay, beef a little chewy. Cocktail was not brilliant. beer very good.
