My husband and I called in for lunch, mid week. I had the roasted pumpkin salad and added chicken. It was amazing, so delicious! Hubby had the wings and they were awesome too! I've been once before and had the lunch special hamburger & chips and that was great too! We'll be back for sure.

Good indoor kids play space, good atmosphere. Although I ordered a kids beef burger alongside an adults chicken burger. The kids burger meal was bigger then then the adults meal and half the price. There is no way adding jalepenos and lettuce to a burger justifies a $14 price difference.

Complaints to the chef 1st time there for us and now its our local. The food was the best feed ever ! The stake diane was so good. And the chicken wings. can not fault anything. And the bar girls were awesome. See you again ! Found a new wine as well ?

Always a great feed. New menu offers excellent variety. We loved our meal tonight, everything was spot on. Very flavoursome and service was fast.

Come for lunch on a Friday. Awesome $15 lunch menu. Great atmosphere and amazing service

Food was average. We were yelled at by a brunette bar person because we were standing in the common area and over a metre from where they had left a door underground open. So very rude. Had a great time at the George iv after.

Perfect cosy atmosphere and friendly staff. Steak with beer costs around $30. Nice portion sizes and not a long wait. When in town do check it out. Highly recommended

Rather a nice place. Stopped to have dinner. Steak was a little over done, same with my wife's salmon. But, we both still enjoyed the meal and prices were reasonable. I would go back again.

I took 2 motorcycle mates here for dinner instead of cooking myself at home, something I do when biker mates are staying at mine.
The meals here are always huge and will fill a hungry biker's belly. The quality is always to a high standard and my companions were impressed with both the menu and the size of the meals that we were served. The prices are very acceptable for the size and quality of the meals.
Picton Hotel deserves the 5 stars ?? plus another 4 stars on top, and I happily recommend my friends and family enjoy a meal here. I certainly will return again.

The food is nicely presented and of good quality. Prices are moderate and about the same as other local places to eat. The dining area tends to be a bit noisy. Staff are pleased.

The parmagiana was good here. Whilst the gravy was a little eatery, the chicken and chips were great quality and the overall meal was generously portioned.

The wait time for the meal was short also (15-20mins on a Sunday evening).

The place has gone a recent decor upgrade and it looks tidy and classy. There's fireplaces here that would be great to sit near in winter time.

The staff were friendly and professional, and a meal and a soft drink cost around $30.

The place has a large bistro which is fine for small or large groups.

Great pub, clean modern style in older pub. Good food and selection. We arrived at 2.40pm very pleased Bistro still open and friendly staff ready to serve us. Looking for a late lunch great place to drop by.

Pretty bad experience, wasn't that busy and they completely lost our mains order, lucky we followed up an hour later or would still be waiting. Then they got dessert order wrong too, one dish took a
ages to come and then not as described on menu.

Meal was great and staff are friendly, however I was extremely disappointed when at 8.30 we tried to order dessert and was told the bistro was closed. When you only have 3 things on dessert menu how hard is it to supply dessert until at least 9pm on a Friday night. ???

Food is great at Picton hotel. Problem we found is that bistro closed at 8.30 on a Friday night. Too bad if you wanted dessert !! Pub open till 1am but no food!

I had a Family dinner at Picton Hotel recently & we sat by the fire for drinks 1st & then went into to the dining area which was still warm & cosy. I really loved the food & would definitely reccomend it. There were plenty of families enjoying their night out & a play area for kids.

Passing through on our way to Gundagai we stopped for lunch.
Good varied menu with Specials and full meals, and a variety of beers and wines to suit. Very comfy with a warm fire and friendly staff. Quality food and great value. Well worth turning off the highway for.

Foods no longer consistent here. Average to poor Service. Routinely getting our order wrong. Ingredients in some the dishes not declared! Yes adding chilli to a dish that doesn't usually have it matters. Dirty tables are plentiful. Waiting time for food is fair to good. Expensive. My steak asked for medium rare was very raw in the middle. Bar service is normally slack, obnoxious and unfriendly.
Inspite of the renovations the pub is a bit of a dive.
Management and lack there of competence is abundant in this establishment and has been for some time.
It's actually hard to find somewhere in Picton that hasn't got huge underpinnings of some nature.
Any how we will be giving Picton hotel a rest again for a while.

Great pub food. Really liked the bread and miso butter. Good shocked schnitzel but garlic prawns was only 4 prawns.

Food was delicious ! Salt and pepper calamari was perfect and my rump steak was cooked medium rare to the T ?

Nice pub in Picton. Quiet place, friendly and fast service. The food was good but not the top stuff.

Menu is a little smaller since the rennovations...but still great choices
Still FANTASTIC cooking with very friendly service and welcoming environment

The food was absolutely delicious!! The new indoor children's playground makes it family friendly too. Kept the kids entertained while the adults could wind down and have a good conversation.

Good meals, yet a strangely limited choice of beers.

Some of the staff are a box relaxed. I waited at the bar while a staff sat at the patrons table pretending to not see me waiting.

Other than that, great little pub with TAB and bistro

We ate there last Saturday and I had the Barramundi, it was one of the best dishes I've had in a long time. There were 7 of us and all of our meals were delicious.

Had dinner, med/rare steak was perfect, so were the other meals.

Nice pub grub, but they no longer have their mid-week lunch menu, thus got a 3 star. However in saying that, they still have 'specials' for din dins. Nice food I do admit.

Absolute 5 star food and a great atmosphere.Cold outside and the fires going inside made for a perfect night.Cheesy garlic bread was great, steak was cooked perfectly and the salmon and veg was awesome.We will be back, thank you for a great night.

Exceptionally lovely team of staff! Everyone is happy, cheery and polite. Some of the best pub service I've seen. Reno's look great too! Glad to see the place up and running and busy again, the team have really done well to turn this place around!
