Port Admiral Hotel

Made a recent visit running under the new ownership and we can clearly see a big difference. Great selection of beers, friendly staff and good food options. Cozy and welcoming atmosphere made us definitely going back again.

Recommend the Seafood Laksa. Entire menu is gluten free.

Could not fault anything. Delicious fish and chips, salt and pepper squid and garlic bread..... All 100% GLUTEN FREE MENU.

Nice eatery with friendly staff. A child's ice cream took a little too long so they gave us a free drink.

We had a group with diverse food needs and tastes and the extensive menu suited us all very well. And all of the meals were superb. The pork (pictured) I had was juicy and the glaze was excellent. The room we got was one of the nicest pub dining space we have had - cosy and relaxed. This place is a gem.

The first time we went, the margaritas were insanely good.
The next time, we decided to try something different & eat, we were not disappointed!
The food was superbly fresh, really nicely cooked & presented. Entrees we enjoyed, Fried Dumplings, beautifully plump & delicious 😋
Outdoor dining, under expansive cover, is well worth the trip.
Don't miss out because it's gluten-free. You'd never know. It's just that good.

Number 1 crumbed and battered fish. Number 2 Mac and cheese balls! So many amazing items on this menu if you're gluten free. I was the only coeliac in a party of 7 and we all very much enjoyed our meals.
Absolutely a must when you are in Port Adelaide. 100% recommend.

We had our Christmas end of year dinner here and it was great. Overall I'm pleased and we will likely be back next year.
The room we were put in was nice and quiet, which is important for us as we have a few neurodivergent members who are overstimulated by chatter. I also enjoyed the music that was playing. The breeze coming in from the balcony was lovely.
The food was tasty, everyone was happy with their meal, though my steak was a little dry, I didn't mind.
The server was lovely and had a good memory with our drinks and meals.

We enjoyed our dinner out. Wife have recently been declared gluten and lactose free was relaxed knowing she could have anything on the menu. She doesn't normally eat fish out, but demolished that plus half my prawns too. Side salad dressing was
a sweet mustard rather than vinaigrette which was truly appreciated. Truly appreciated the meal, the happy service, and even excellent drinks pricing. Highly commend. Kudos to all staff for looking after us on the night!

We get very excited about finding a fully gluten free venue as my partner is gluten intolerant. And this one did not disappoint! Every meal was absolutely amazing. Despite how busy they were, the meals came out in a very reasonable time. Portion sizes are also very decent!

Huge shoutout to our waitress Ann. She was incredible. She was so lovely, funny, welcoming and helpful. Just an all round amazing lady. She made the night even more great. 10/10 for Ann. But also 10/10 for everything overall. Will definitely be back. Thank you guys :)
