I just went there yesterday for an open mic. Wow what a place, great view, such a nice and welcoming atmosphere. The host of the open mic was so friendly and even the people there were so good.

Head straight upstairs to the rooftop bar. Come in off the side street. It's colourful, inviting and relaxed. Don't be surprised if you are personally greeted by the owner. He is one of the friendliest business owners I've ever met. The staff were great. Very friendly and chilled. Sunset is beautiful. The food was good pub food with a great variety. Excellent chips! Try a Froze' - great on a hot day. We had a really lovely experience and would go there again.

Been under new owners and the food is good Quality pub fare - and service is very friendly - and it's like a throwback not pretentious - they have also just built a rooftop bar at the rear which is AMAZING !!

This venue is still closing at 6am despite gov rules 4am shut down. So after 4am it's super busy, but payouts are rare.. staff id easy going. Although some patrons cause u to hold onto Ur handbag alot tighter.

Fit out is dated and kitsch. Front bar has your usual Asahi labels on tap. VB etc. The one local brew I ordered was flat. Sorely needs a reno to revitalise the front bar. Very disappointing.

For a small venue it was pretty good its the first place where the manager came out and said not to leave my scooter out in the foyer and told me to bring it in and put it somewhere safe and out of the way that one simple jestture made me feel welcome and even tho I didn't walk out a winner I did sort of because out of every other single place that was a first

Just watched the older Asian staff member pull out all the remaining credit from multiple machines. If a patron did that they would be kicked out. It isn't even close to the close

My go to pub food in the area. I've ordered many many times from uber eats and it has been consistent, delicious food and generous portions. Burgers are amazing but the schnitzels are my favourite, nothing like a good schnitzel or parma!
Highly recommend Preston hotel for good value, quality pub grub food with a good price tag.

Beef stroganoff was watery and the coke wasn't even on tap it came from a flat bottle I am disgusted I will never go back

Great place for a cold beer, watch the footy and have a quiet punt. Awesome food at very reasonable prices too. Best pub in Preston.

Honestly the food is decent and the staff are friendly enough, their parmas are pretty killer. But the people that visit there are plain feral, you can barely walk past without the smokers out the front harassing you, and going inside you get stares, snide little comments to each other. It's quote uncomfortable, really ruins the experience. :I

I order off uber eats for the hotel a lot and they've got great parmas however the service in person as the restaurant leaves a lot to be desired.

I went in and we stood at the "please wait to be seated" sign for 5 minutes and even though a few employees looked over at us we got no service. Wasn't particularly busy, we eventually sat ourselves and looked to order on the app but it said a 45 minute wait so we left.

Bit disappointing, guess we'll stick to uber eats.

Was handed food by a nice man with two earrings. Food was great and well priced. My only tips would be to put a sign out front or open doors so people know that you're open :)

Great food, the Resturaunt is clean and staff friendly. Good value for dinner and drinks but would be nice if they had a barman who knew how to make fancy cocktails. As I ordered one but was told they didn't have all the ingredients or a barman who knew how to mix cocktails. It's a bar, and should have one staff member capable of making cocktails. Otherwise lovely experience.

The front bar is a great place for a good quality meal and the beers are very good .maureen the bar person is the best ,always looking to improve your visit.

If you like the pokies or a flutter on the nags this place is for you. If you're after atmosphere and a place to chill, this ain't it. Clean, bright and the staff were friendly.

Since my last review I visited this venue again and this time the staff were far more hospitable, attentive and a touch friendly. They still don't offer self service ticketing on their gaming machines so u must call the one attendant they have working to come write u a slip then line up to cash it at the window. Their Pizza is so yum it's out of this world, for a crazy $8( u can order that anytime. The best value bottle of bourbon and coke mix is only $7! Almost half the price of other venues! Plenty of parking also.
