The Prince Of Wales Hotel, Gulgong NSW

I am planning another visit for work purposes to the region and in the past have enjoyed a brilliant experience at the Prince of Wales in Gulgong.
However, there was an issue last visit with the restaurant service with the manager not being prepared to deliver all courses in order, but all together. I was told by her it was the new dining experience. I would call it a dining nightmare. $40 steak getting cold whilst eating the entree. Not good!!!
I am keen to again stay at the Prince of Wales but would need to ensure that the meals service has now reverted to the traditional - courses being delivered in order with an appropriate time gap between each course.
Can you please confirm this is now the case? If so, it would be my pleasure to book accommodation at POW again.

We are a group of eight who have just completed the Central West Cycle track. We started and finished in Gulgong and chose the Prince of Wales as a dinner venue for our first night. The meals were so fabulous we chose to eat there again on our return. Not only were the meals excellent but the service from the bar manager and waitresses was exceptional. What a gem.

My husband and myself have been regular visitors for the tasty meals. Went there about three weeks ago, the menu had changed...not for the better....most of the salad meals were gone...the reason we visited there, and also all the lunch time specials were off the menu as well. Not rushing to go back there any time soon😠

PS. we are fairly new to this region and this was our favourite and most visited venue.

Stayed for one night and was very impressed with service and accommodation. We took the opportunity to have dinner at the pub and we were over whelmed with how fresh and tasty our meals were. Hubby had supreme pizza and I had the chicken breast with vegetables.
Will be returning soon :)

It is a great place to stay and have a meal. Well looked after. There was a delay in the kitchen with our meals, which was unexplained.
