Went to the Punt Hotel today for lunch. I would highly recommend it. We had our dog with bus and there were no issues with having him in the best garden. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The menu had a wide variety and the meal was excellent.

This is a great little town to stop over on a trip - or make it a destination in itself.
At different times, I have stayed in my caravan at both the Caravan Park and at the Punt Hotel.
Bruce, the pub owner, is friendly and welcoming, and gave me plenty of tips for day trips in the area.
At the rear of the hotel he has set up a fabulous camping area for RVs, it has better camping than many paid parks I have been to. The food at the pub is excellent and the managers and locals are very friendly too.

A most pleasant dining & relaxing experience at the Punt Hotel.
We were able to stay onsite in our caravan and then just a few steps to this very friendly pub, with excellent meals, friendly staff and locals. A delightful, quiet sitting area for after-dinner drinks.

Stayed at the free RV parking at the Punt Hotel. Lovely big drive through sites. Trees between to screen each one. Gravel base so not muddy. Pub has good meals. A great beer garden.

Very nice meals and fair for all prices. We parked the van and stayed behind the pub free of charge.
If you do the same then enjoy a few drinks and meals at the pub. Good location just a long stone's throw from the river, drive through caravan sites, for overnight stay, good meals and cold drinks. Indoor and outdoor dining. It's a great place for an overnight stay. Short walk to shops. Oh try the bacon from the old butcher shop. I enjoyed my stay there. All very good. Jim

Stayed for the night in the free caravan parking out the back of the pub. Good gravel base with separated drive through parking spots. Good feed in the pub made it easy to support a small business that is supporting travellers.
