best pub ever great hotel and great food

Probably the nicest pub I've ever been to.
The publican was a local who explained the history in great detail .
I will definitely go there next time I'm going through.

10/10 country pub meal. Roast veg with chicken Parma and a steak sandwich and chips. Outstanding.

The local 'Pyrenees Hotel' in Lexton was and is a lovely place to stop at. It was so good to sit back and hear some of the local History from both the Publican Mr Bob Palmby and the visitor Mr Frank Gallagher. The olden days sounded like the better days, thanks guys ?

Great food at great prices, and lovely staff. I always enjoy going there.

Great food great staff really good country pub.

Called in as I was passing through the town and bought some stubby holders for $7.50 each and a couple of cans of lemonade for the trip. Service was excellent by the barman. Nice fireplace burning away to help with the chilly air.

We have just moved into the area and have been to the pub for a couple of meals an wow the meals are amazing !! The staff are fantastic mark an the other guys an gals there are so welcoming. What a fantastic little country pub 100% recommended ??'?

We called in for lunch. We both had the chicken parma. It was delicious. It was so big we had no room for the cheese cake afterwards. The beers on tap weren't huge but they had a big range of bottled beers. The staff were all great,

Stopped by on the way home from Ballarat. Did not expect to find a hotel/restaurant/bar that held itself to such a high standard.

The pub itself is one that could rival those on St Kilda foreshore. Amazing renovations that made me want to sip wine all day.

The steak sandwiches are well worth the hour trip we will gladly make to eat them again. And exceptional value.

Hospitality and service was also fabulous. Didn't feel uncomfortable at any time during our late lunch.

Dinner was superb! Couldn't have asked for better. Calamari was fresh, Parma was made from scratch and the fish and chips was amazing. You couldn't ask for a better evening, friendly atmosphere and wonderful staff.
