Had lunch here today for my husband's birthday. The staff were absolutely fantastic so friendly & helpful the food was beautiful. We had 2 seniors meals chicken snitzel & fish dishes along with sticky date pudding. The meals were extremely generous in size & excellent price. Next time we're in Warrnambool will definitely return!

Was rather disappointed in the meals with my last visit, kids meals were below standard quality & they've to add a gourmet sausage to the kids menu. Kids dont like gormet, the like basic. Beef parma was horrible id have to say honestly, it was chewy, dry & boring, no flavour what so ever.
Good to see they have balter hazy on tap though ?.

Last visit, smoked lamb rump ??'?, bit fatty but flavir and presentation was spot on.

Garlic prwns on the steak were a bit of a let down and the rump it self was under cooked over cooked and cook just right. Ceaser Salad was nice, and the drinks were a funny flavour. Kids play area is handy for parents who need a break when you want to sit and eat. And the icecream bar is a trap. Located near the toilet, so the kids are bound to go pass it at some stage during the night, very expensive also, It'll send you broke if you got 3 kids. I hadn't been there since they had set up the marquees, but that area looks like alot of fun, somewhere you can get all ya mates together and enjoy a evening on the beers.

A venue that has everything. It's a great spot for families with an awesome kids play area. The function room is great and generally free of charge, main bar and even the outdoor beer garden area is perfect to watch the footy. Couple of pokies and a courtesy bus will pick you up and drop you home. Forgot to take photos of the meal but they were pretty good kids pizza size was tiny with only about 6 chips, small even for a kids meal. Overall it's always really busy and pretty good, would recommend.

Great restaurant. They have a great large kids inflatable playground with CCTV on a TV in the eating room. So parents can supervise their kids without being there.

Loved that they had a staff member in the kids zone to avoid to much rowdiness.

Enjoy the time being here every time, the bar is good and has a select menu.

Saturday live band was good?

We were here on holidays and everyone raves about this place so thought why not give it a try. Well we Waited an hour and 20 minutes for food to arrive, paid $84 for 2 kids meals and 2 adult meals. Kids meals were fine but my hubby ordered beer batter flake, was def not worth $26.59 for the size flake pieces were. I ordered the chicken and asparagus special and paid $35.50, well the only good part was the chicken and green veggies. Its supposed to come with crispy fried potatoes well i reckon i got potatoes that had been sitting for ages as they were absolutely disgusting and almost stale like. I wouldn't even feed them to a pig.

Great place, menu had so many options, deserts were excellent. I had the 12 hour Smoked Brisket, many choice for beer. Plenty of staff all organised, great system with the buzzer.
Had a fancy specials list too, picture of menu is 1/4 of what is on offer.

We enjoyed lunch here over the long weekend. We were able to get a booking that morning for 12 people which was great. They have a wonderful indoor play area for the kids. There are TV screens in the dining areas which show the cameras from the play areas, so you can watch your children if necessary. The food was generous sizing and tasty. The pricing was not cheap, but not overly too expensive either. The staff were very friendly and accomodating. Kids eat free on Tuesday nights.
The only negative thing I would say was that there wasn't much space between the tables. It was difficult to move around and found we had to ask others to stand so we could pass by. Although we were seated in the space where the playground entrance was. The other side of the restaurant looked much more spacious.

Holidaying in area and thought this place looked good for a family meal so made a booking for 7pm. When we got there we could see it was packed to the brim so we figured this was a good sign that it is well liked and does good food. Unfortunately we were quite disappointed with our meals. Paid $49 for a good cut of steak and at that price expect a beautifully cooked steak. Unfortunately not so. Asked for medium and it was well done and difficult to eat. Two others asked for medium-rare and both were pretty much blue. Overall flavour (kilpatrick topping) was quite lacklustre. Yes, should probably have sent them back and asked for new meals but we had already waited over 30 minutes, which we aren't complaining about, but overall the time was getting on so we didn't.
Other meals included a pasta dish, chicken parmigiana and salt and pepper squid. These were a bit average but better than the steaks.
The bar staff were good. No complaints there.

We decided to order takeaway from Raffertys and wow this food was amazing. My partner ordered the 700g rump with chips (medium rare) and myself lamb shank with mash and veg. We are blown away of how big these meals were and to pick it up from the bottle O was awesome.

The steak wasn't tough it was succulent and cooked perfect. The lamb shank was top notch, great portions and i love how the sauce comes in their own containers to pour on your own. The veggies were so tasty and soft and the mash was so buttery and perfect.

Hands down to the chef for making our last night in Warrnambool perfect. We would definitely be recommending others to come and eat here or even takeaway. Thank you ?

Superb food. Everything just melts in your mouth. We ordered a variety of dishes but I especially came here for lamb shank and it did not disappoint me. The Parmas were amazing too especially the Nasi Goreng Parma. We also ordered natural and Kilpatrick oysters and we just loved both. We ended our meal with a warm mouth-watering sticky date pudding. A must try place!

Great atmosphere and the choice of DF meals were amazing for my daughter. The ice cream bar and kids play room were also a huge hit! Well done Rafferty's.

Love how they have a bus that will pick you up and then you can have a few drinks and not worry about losing your licence on the way home. The service is good and the food is really great.

Have to pay a arm and a leg for a pub meal or make a quick trip to sell a kidney.
We didn't even bother eating, the look of the meals around us, undersized, unappetizing, then are treated like a pharmacy waiting for a buzzer to collect our own meals, we got up and left and won't be back

Warm and welcoming staff went above and beyond with friendly, respectful service. Our Atlantic Salmon meal was absolutely delicious and our wine was poured from a fresh bottle! Very happy customers!

The beef cheek rage pasta is a must. Quick friendly service. Enjoyed the casual dining experience.

With several children in tow, my husband and I headed to Rafferty's as we do on special occasions - not because the food is exceptional... It is a pub. Decent servings, respectable pricing, tastier than most other pub bistros may offer but no... Our motivation behind always choosing Rafferty's is the play area for the kids. It is over two levels and consists of things that bounce and slide and keep those noisy little people occupied happily so you can have that rare moment to converse without the constant interruptions. (Simply check on your kids via the screens dotted around the eating areas). Speaking of children, if they're also your motivating factor in determining where to dine out - a Tuesday evening meal there will afford you one free kids meal with every adults meal ordered. Just check that on booking. The place is quite clean - my only criticism is that the wait staff are quick to clear tables. Too quick and it can feel as though you're being rushed at times but, they respond well to a 'I'll tell you when I want the table cleared - please leave it all for now, thank you very much'. We will all be back, again and again.
