We stayed and ate at the Railway hotel. Great pub meal, brilliantly cooked and very generous proportions - one of us had the steak the other chicken. The rooms are small but cleverly renovated, excellent ensuite with great shower and very comfy beds. Both the food and lodgings exceeded our expectations. Great value!

We live in the UK, travel extensively through Europe and Asia/ Australasia and consume rather a lot of pizza on our journeys. No kidding, the Railway Hotel's wood fired pizzas are up there with the very very best . Quality, tastey thin crust, with delicious toppings. Warm friendly service.

Great relaxed atmosphere. I had a delicious steak for a very reasonable price. Just as good as the city restaurants.

Great friendly service, very accommodating,
excellent meals, had the oven fired pizza on the Thursday was great, so went back the Friday night for a steak cooked to perfection, as per the photo's - yummy.
Partner gave the home-made beef stroganoff pie the thumbs up. Highly recommend, will definitely eat there when back in the area.

The staff were friendly and the steak was cooked to perfection. Great sized meal and access for trucks is good. Definitely recommend stopping here for dinner.

Fantastic service, delicious home style meals. Went with a bus load of elderly clients and the owner and staff went above and beyond to accommodate everyone. Thoroughly enjoyed by all.
