We had a lovely time at Red Hill Brewery. We took our Japanese Spitz who met Harry, the resident dog who lives there. Harry's mum is also JS, but his dad is an Alaskan I believe. If you look carefully you can see him in one of the photos. He's just gorgeous. We enjoyed a refreshing drink and some delicious chips with smoked aioli dip. The services was great and the staff were really friendly.

The beer we had was nice but the service was weird and didn't make any sense. We ordered a jug of beer, expecting better value, as individual pints were priced at $11, while all jugs were listed at $30. When receiving the jug, it had a 2-inch foam head and did not even yield two full pints. This is a brewery. When we raised this with the waiter, we were told that this was the size of their pints, despite the jug costing the equivalent of three pints.

I pointed out the discrepancy, questioning why we were paying the price of three pints but receiving only two. The waiter said that the pricing was beyond their control and that they could not address the issue. Later, they returned to tell us that the menu incorrectly lists the price of a pint as $11 when it is actually $14, which only compounded the problem as I'm still paying more for less.

Unfortunately, not only was the pricing unclear and misleading, but there was also no attempt from their end to rectify the situation or offer any resolution. The lack of concern and indifference was disappointing. We won't be coming back here again.

Very underwhelming. Went on a Sunday afternoon around 3pm ordered the grazing board between 4 of us and some calamari. The meat came out within about 5 mins. Everything was cold and the meat tasted old. The calamari was hot but that salty we couldn't even eat it. The staff were side tracked looking at phones and laptops tops, we weren't even supplied side plates to eat the waitress was too busy patting dogs. Had to get our own plates and wipe down our own tables. Beer was nice but that's where it ended! We did let the chef know and he really wasn't interested in the feedback. It wasn't busy maybe 3 tables of people. We won't return.

I'm so happy that this wonderful piece of my backyard is still here.
The first and still the best brewery on the Mornington Peninsula.
Having a pint of the Handpump Stout. It's chilly, cinnamon and chocolate infused and just sublime on this serene, rainy day.
The INXS and Paul Kelly tunes complete the perfect chilled vibes.
Where's everyone though? Come on guys, please support this worthy little gem.

We visited on Fri 1 July 2024.
(We have visited Red Hill Brewery a few times previously).
A jewel of a place to take family visiting from New Zealand.
It was well before lunch and very cold this day, so we did not stay long.
Previous visits have been really good.
Need to allocate a designated driver - next time it will not be me - I have done my turn!
The beers are locally brewed, and there is a good selection.
Yes, Excellent and recommended!

Came here to enjoy a tasty tasting paddle and some lunch on a weekday afternoon. Super relaxing vibe on the patio with their pups coming to greet you (and ask politely for food". The ribs is pretty good but I think brisket wins the duel.
