Lovely unassuming place. Food and service was great. Will definitely visit again

We booked a table for 4 on Saturday night. The location is clean, spacious and comfortable. The staff are friendly and attentive.
We had steak, t bone and salmon for main. All the meals were delicious and served hot. It was an excellent dinner and we would love to come back.

A traditional country pub, with a relaxed atmosphere and some amazing food. My wife and I both had the lamb shank pot pie, which was delicious. We saw a few other meals bring brought out, and they all looked great too

Great yummy food and fantastic music by Michelle Parsons!! We will be back next time she's playing. Great range of songs and just a great fun night.
This is my 2nd visit to this pub. Last time was years ago. If Michelle is a regular, so will we be.

Had the Steak Special and Roast Pork.
Steak was beautifully cooked and pork was well presented, only one small criticism was the lack of crunchy crackling

Had heard good reports about this place and thought I'd give it a try. Certainly, I wasn't disappointed. Meals were excellent and in abundance, staff were warm and friendly and a very relaxed atmosphere. A real country pub atmosphere and not overly pricey either. Will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu

This is a great place to bring the family. Food is exactly what you expect from a pub in a good way, and the kids loved the indoor playground. The staff were amazing and you could really tell they loved their jobs and made everyone too the youngest member feel welcome.

group of ten...food was of good quality for all. service was excellent, friendly staff....surroundings were pleasant, with kids play area adjacent to meals area....pricing was reasonable....l had a Greek platter, and the Calamari was really tender...well done cooks....overall, a good night.....

This is a crowd pleaser, especially if you have kids and enjoy watching some sports. The indoor playground, while dated, is still able to occupy the kids well enough for a short while. There's a fireplace and a big TV in the main bar. Food was generous; we both had parmas and pints, which honestly was basic but good.

In all it's a great country pub that does the basics right, but I can't say it's a date night sort of place. Expect to pay around $40 - $50 pp for a meal and drinks

We've been here a few times with the family (usually 12 of us). It's a really good family friendly hotel. The meals are delicious and served fast by genuinely friendly staff. The fire place is lovely and the atmosphere is very welcoming. Highly recommended.

Food, service and atmosphere was good. I got the Pork Belly and vegies. When it came out, it was just roast pork without any crackling. It was yum but I wanted Pork Belly, so I wouldn't order this again, knowing what I got.

Our dance group of 20+ thoroughly enjoyed our lunch here. Everyone seemed very please with the quality and quantity of all their meals. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Meals were delivered to the table in a timely manner. Personally I would like to thank the staff for their help with my gluten & fructose intollerances. My meal of a warm chicken salad was spot on, thanks also to the chef, beautifully cooked. We will visit again.

Food absolutely yummy friendly staff .. real country pub ..play ground for the kid's right near where you eat so you can see them..great place..

Went for Xmas eve dinner. They turned off lights and aircon before 9pm.
Waited over an hour for a simple salmon and veggies meal.
Will never go back.

Have not been to Riddells Creek before but now have a reason to return.
The place was almost full and this was a sign of good things to come as I have sat in many empty venues where the food was not up to par.
Our group (6) were happy with the quality and the quantity of meals. My chicken Parma was particularly good - juicy, thicker and tasty - although it was not Parma night (which is Tuesday)
Service was good despite a full house and staff were pleasant

Service was okish. Walked into the restaurant side, all servers ignored me so I went to the bar to order. Was then asked if I haven been seated. (I didn't as the kids ignored me). Lady behind the bar was nice and organised me a table next to the fireplace on the bar side. Got the Mexican Parma what was ok. Super sweet flavours, pretty weird. But the worst thing is when I hit my meal delivered and asked for a side of Mayo, the server went to the kitchen to get me some, came then back to tell me the good news are they have Mayo, the bad news are it's $1. Like I just spend $36 bucks here on 2 beers and a meal and you try to squeeze out another buck of me? I'm here for work for 2 weeks and would have been a costumer every night. Not anymore, first and last time.

This place has it all together when it comes to serving up quality food, service and very reasonable prices. The tucker here is absolutely magnificent and the stand out for us at lunch was the seafod platter with it's wonderful selection of expertly cooked fresh seafood. It is so pleasing to see the effort put into sourcing fresh seafood as opposed to that cheap imported rubbish served in most establishments. The schnitzels were wonderful. It is great to see that everything was being cooked fresh and all our tables meals came out together. We hopped the train down from Castlemaine for lunch and we simply cannot wait to go back for another visit. Having seen the fantastic steaks that were coming out of the kitchen I am salivating at the thought of a return visit. Thank you for such a great lunch which really topped of my wifes birthday. You should be very proud of the quality being served.

Wow, delicious food. Scotch fillet steak beautifully tender, red wine jus amazing! Others had chicken scallopine and open lamb souvlaki. Both excellent. We'll done! Quick service on a busy night too.

Had a lovely lunch with 65 of my friends. Decor was a bit bland. Would have been nice to have had some decorations around. Meal was delicious

Absolutely loved my meal. Garlic prawns fettuccine and pavlova. These are a few extra meals that looked great too.
