Great stop over for Wagga Wagga. Excellent service by all staff especially Duty Manager Pramuk who was friendly, helpful and attentive. Dinner was very good [TBone, veg or mash and Salad] and rooms comfy but old.

Ordered the chefs special sirloin and chips. The steak was cold. The temperature of the meat was as though it was out of the fridge. There was no moisture at all. Returned it to the kitchen were the staff offered to do another meal. Not privy to the conversation with the chef but was then offered a full refund. Short changed on the refund. Should have checked before leaving, but shouldn't have to. This is the second meal I have had there that has been served cold.

Will not buy another meal there.

Lunch at rhe Riverina Hotel. I elected to have the lunch special Rump Steak with vegetables and chips $14.90. I was pleasantly surprised that the steak was tasty and cooked as requested medium to well done. A children's meals was ordered with chicken nuggets, chips, and ice cream. Staff are a friendly, pleasant atmosphere. I can recommend the lunchtime specials. Value for money.

We ordered the dumplings/ always good. We also ordered the Bruschetta, which was very disappointing this time. It was dry bread with lots of tomatoes on top, minimal goats cheese and sauce. The tomatoes kept falling off the plate, some looked old and tasted sour. It was difficult to eat, needing a knife and fork to load toppings onto bread. Love going to the Riv and will go back, will just steer clear of the bruschetta.

Food was excellent. Scotch fillet cooked to our request. Our service was great and quick, however, did notice that people who ordered B4 us were waiting for over 20minutes after we received our meals to get their food.

First time here. Welcoming friendly staff. Very good menu. Daily specials. Average prices. Value for money meals. Very enjoyable lunch indeed. I'll be back for sure.

I like this place it has a good atmosphere and friendly staff, food is normally good.....not tonight, ordered the slow cooked ribs they were rubbish. Overcooked, dry full of gristle and basically inedible, the best thing on the plate was the chips, advised staff and she was accepting of the facts even suggesting was dry before I offered any details, but beyond responding courtesly with an I'll let them know, there was clearly a lack of interest nobody from kitchen or manager came out to discuss nothing was offered in recompense for the good money I had spent there.
Will possibly return for a beer but eating there is simply off the table in the future.

We had a great night at the Riverina. We went along to play trivia which was really well run by an enthusiastic quizmaster, it was a pacey night and a great atmosphere. The other patrons were pleasant and enjoyed themselves too. Our meals were fantastic! My partner's chicken dish was maybe the best meal she's ever had. My garlic prawns and rice were delicious, both meals well priced. Friendly staff too, a pub worth visiting again!

Very "Home" style type of meal for the price. Ordered a Riverina black Angus steak Medium rare, and it came out medium. Was still very tender though! Paying $40, I would expect the steak to be on point. Veggies were fresh, mash potatoes were great, but sauce was some powdered gloopy mess, with some pickled green peppercorns added to it. Did not do the beautiful, but over cooked steak justice. Very basic service here. My guest had the lamb cutlets, lamb was very tender, but too much oil on the outside. Maybe fryer not turned up to the right temperature?

Order from counter, meals placed on table and then have to walk up to the main bar for drinks. Meals were a great portion, but I suggest that they get bigger main plates. It was a clumsy mess because the plate was just too small. Easy fix!

Service very basic, seemed to be more content behind the cash register, than walking over to see if everything was OK.

Must be a lack of staff here, as the service felt cafeteria like. No time to spend with customers to share that beautiful country charm. It's a shame. I use to eat here many many years ago. Like 1990's. The place was totally different with an extensive menu and good vibe. Not sure what happened, but they really need to work on the atmosphere. Seems dull and dreary now.

We spent June long weekend at Wagga and visited The Riverina Hotel 3 times, because of deficiency of other pubs in the area. Reading some one star reviews for the same dates it feels like we had a preferential treatment (thanks Riverina :-). Yes, it was a limited menu. But food was very good. Service was very fast and efficient. For these days, prices are very reasonable. We saw a lot of local people, families with kids and pensioners gathering at The Riverina. It is always a good sign. It was our second visit to Wagga in 2 years and The Riverina is a our preferred place for food.

Great pub and bistro. The salt and pepper squid was good for a place not anywhere near the Pacific Ocean. The bistro staff even whipped up a sticky date pudding dessert for me, even though it was 2 minutes after the kitchen had closed. Cheers legends, will be back again

A really great little pub with an awesome happy hour, however, please be aware that happy hour is restricted to house beers only, so if you are like us and interested in beer slightly better than Carlton draft then the prices are pretty on par with the rest of town at any other time. Food was excellent and the bar staff were very friendly. Plenty of available parking nearby and only 2 minutes into town.

Initially was a little out off by the prices then when walking by lunch time yesterday saw the lunch special. I normally wouldn't order a steak but though hey why not. The humble $15.90 lunch steak special was probably the best steak I've had outside of Melbourne's expensive steak houses (and better than some!). Absolutely superb. So well cooked and seasoned. The mashed potato was unbelievably smooth and buttery. My poor wife had to live through me having a 'When Harry met Sally' moment all lunch long. Do yourself a favour and go get one!

Excellent Fish of the Day here 29.12.22 (think it was Salmon). One of the best I've had. Staff pretty friendly. Pricey menu and Men's bathroom needs a little more attention. But if I was a local I'd definitely go back there to eat. Well done!

Sunday lunch, excellent food, great country pub!!

The Riverina hotel, this was our second time there for a feed, the staff were lovely the food was excellent and well portioned, it was a busy night being burger night but we didn't have to book in a seat!

The atmosphere at the venue is exceptional, with plenty of options on the menu was a great experience!

Had dinner here last night and the meals were great.
Really good atmosphere, friendly staff, and fairly priced meals.

One of the best steaks I tried. We drove through this town and decided to dine in this place on the Monday. The steak was divine and very affordable. It was way better than the expensive ones we tried in Canberra. Th staff were very friendly and accommodating. I believe this place is iconic. The folks were also smiley. We waited a bit but it was worth it. I will definitely visit this place again.

Waited over an hour for meals. Would have been nice to be told when ordering there would be a wait. When food finally arrived and we made a comment about the wait we got attitude from a disrespectful teenager. Shame, because had the meals not been stone cold they would have been worthy of positive feedback. Let's just say, as tourists we won't be back or recommend this venue to other travellers.

Ultimately the food is lovely, they didn't get my order right...it was close. Also, the bar staff could be a bit more polite.

Prices have risen ALOT
The food is not as good. Won't be returning

Great food, staff are friendly and enjoy a chat. Recently renovated with plenty of room inside and out, including outdoor heaters for winter. Tuesday night burger specials are one of the best in town :)
