We were greeted by a very friendly waitess who took our order. My husband had a blue steak, which is very hard to get at most other places we've eaten at. He said it was the very best he'd had, cooked perfectly. I had a seafood medley salad which was delicious. The atmosphere is great, plenty of families and couples dining. Very highly recommended.

Basic food was fine. Service was really lacking. Waitress carried more than she could capably and spilled things at each table. Other server cleaned empty tables and ignored the empty plates on ours. Only got dessert half an hour after finishing mains as we went to the counter and asked for it.

The food and service have improved a lot since our last visit. We were very happy with the entire experience this time around. Great job to the team!

We were greeted the moment we walked in. The bistro was heavily booked, but our meals came out quickly. The garlic bread and chicken schnitzels were fantastic. The plain gravy we ordered with our schnitzels was so good. I especially enjoyed my Sunrise mocktail, it was delicious!
Jack, who was very busy clearing tables, and also bringing desserts, was super friendly and still made time to communicate with us. We will be back!

As a regular at Riverside Hotel, I highly recommend it as a great venue. Great meals, friendly and courteous staff, and an ideal setting. A big shout out to Helena who always makes you feel welcome and does a great job.
Riverside Hotel is open Sunday through Saturday from 9 AM to 11 PM.
