It was okay. Cheap cocktails and food, but not great quality. Staff looked overworked to try and cater for the half full venue. Very good COVID-safe practices.

The food is quite good but some of the gaming staff lack professionalism and are very untidy in both appearance and manner. I've overheard them loudly gossipping in disparaging terms about the patrons private business and been very shocked. Sunbury isn't a small town any more but the staff have that petty small town mentality.

What a great little find! A hotel / bistro still talking Covid seriously! Enforcing social distancing, table ordering and payment with QR codes. Friendly staff and great food.

Beautiful food and service, friendly staff and a great atmosphere.Will be back here again next time we are in Sunbury.Donna went above and beyond for our family.

I lost my key card there. Was very rude when I tried to report it to them. I assume one of their regular patrons who went shopping on my card was being advantageous. Please respect the fact that your patrons can be older and easy targets for this behaviour. Maybe check your cameras also learn some kindness in people's distress.

The royal is an amazing pub with amazing staff. Phoebe, Donna and Hayley to there best every time the clock on and show nothing but live and kindness. Whatever they do, they do it to there best 1110%. As long as they work at the royal, I will always come back.
