The Royal Hotel Tiaro

Just what we needed after a day of driving. Cold beer and a quick meal. We were planning on takeaways at the park next door, which has a great playground. Then the friendly staff said we could sit at the downstairs grassed area with our little dog. Will be back next roadtrip !

Loved this little town so much we doubled back for a 2nd visit. Huge thankyou to the publican, Don, & his wife Sally, staff- Courtney, Sarah, Dot, Kelly, & kitchen staff. The friendliest of people who made us almost feel like locals😁 Bar service was exceptional & the meals more than sufficient.
We thoroughly enjoyed the many conversations with Don & his staff.
Gaming lounge & Keno available.
Please stop by in your travels & support this local business. And if you have a day or two to spare, there's free 48hr camping in the car park just a very short distance from the hotel.

Absolutely disgusted, fish chips $29 1 scoop chips ,saturated in chicken salt? Fish was no bigger than 4.5 inches long, batter tasted like old oil. $14 scoop chips and a tiny container of plastic gravy. Having worked in Hospitality and the Food Industry for 30 years, some really good lessons needed here. Very sad for a Country Town... sad the Takeaway across the road wasn't open. They had great hamburger.

Do better! This place does not support families, and well behaved kids having fun. You should have kicked that other family out for swearing and carrying on like a bunch of fools. You should not accept that behaviour, and I am shocked you let them get away with it. Support families doing the right thing at your establishment not the ones swearing at kids. The disrespect is disgusting. Do better.

Always a great experience. Bar and bistro staff are welcoming and friendly and the food is lovely.
