Wow 😲😳??'? WOMADELAIDE day four restaurants closed so lucked on this hotel through a recommendation of local on bus. Superb food, huge serves. Outstanding customer service from the team... especially Nathaniel and manager Jack. Made us feel like we were at a family lunch. Stunning courtyard setting made our day 🙏??'?

Attended the Royal Oak for \"The Lane Winery\" Food & Wine Lunch....Jack the Manager....looked after us like Royalty, the 3 Course Lunch absolutely Exceptional along with the matched Wines. We had a wonderful 3 hour gastronomical delight.
Thank you Royal Oak Hotel & especially Jack for really showing off what \"Hospitality\" truly is!

Enjoyed the exceptional value for money lunch $20 meal + drink menu.. very tasty, generous serving..with a couple beer options & quality Sauv Blanc, highly recommend!!

We booked the outside area for a party. The team made the whole process super easy.

Food was great, came out in waves, so didn\'t leave people going hungry. The team updated us half way through to say maybe we didn\'t need as much food and some of the month could be better spent on the bar.

The minimum spend is reasonable and no cake cutting fees.

We were able to play our own Spotify playlist which made it feel even more personal.

Would highly recommend as a place for functions, events, parties.

This restaurant has a unique style and atmosphere, with live jazz music that is usually enjoyable, though sometimes too loud. It's unclear whether the sound issue comes from the speakers or the design of the restaurant.
If you're worried about the music being too loud, you can choose to sit further inside, where there are dining seats with sofas.

Where I seat close to the stage is not very comfortable, as some tables are too close together. Sometimes when other customers get up, they bump into your chair or you need to move to let them pass. Service is average.

Chicken schnitzel is good not too dry, which is better than many places. The steak is also nice, especially the mushroom sauce is outstanding.
