Royal Saxon - Pub in Richmond Victoria

Average CUB owned public serving commercial beers. Called in for a quick beer, and it was average.

My partners beer was so bad we couldn't drink it. Now that's saying something lol. And not in a good way.

Royal Saxon is a really nice venue with pleasant customer service. There are options for either indoor or outdoor dining/drinks. The lunch menu for $23 which includes either wine, beer or soft drink and a good range of meals to choose from is excellent value. I ordered the lemon pepper chicken poke bowl and it was delicious. I was able to order directly to my table via a QR code. Thank you for a nice dining experience. I will definitely be back again for lunch!

Fantastic pub in South Yarra with a great vibe - good alternative to the clubs around. Happy hour prices are fantastic

Ordered the chips and a side of olives and smoked Bocconcini, so good. Excellent selection of entrees. Espresso Martinis are grand here, good selection of other drinks too.

Will be back, honestly give it a go. May wish to make a reservation if in groups or during busy periods

Didn't have a booking, decided to have dinner on the way to the footy ( just two of us ) Staff were very accomodating ( place was pretty full ) . I had the Roast of the Day which was superb and great value @$28. It was a beef brisket roast that was melt in your mouth. The roasted veggies were awesome and it was presented with a hidden surprise of stuffing with them. It was nearly as good as Mums. My wife had the steak, cooked perfectly, medium rare with Red Wine Jus and salad, perfect gluten free meal.
