Staff friendly and helpful. Brianna checked us in early and we were able to stay in the next room to our friends. Bar staff Anthony and Tristan wonderful cocktail and baristas. Very friendly. Room was comfortable, clean and perfect size for us. Had a great buffet breakfast as well. View from the pool is fabulous.

Location is excellent for the overseas cruise ship terminal & the staff were friendly & helpful, but the rooms are incredibly basic

No kettle in the rooms so no way to make a cuppa for yourself & if the restaurant is closed you're ahit out of luck. Even the super budget hotels I've stayed in provided basic tea & coffee making facilities in the room.

Booked for three people sharing two double beds, which is what we got, so that was fine, but they still only provide enough shower gel, etc for one to two people.

The pillow choice was pretty cool, with soft & firm available, however I couldn't tell the difference between the two so not sure if they made a mistake & put the same pillows in all the cases or if my pillow softness detector is broken.

The staff were working really hard & seemed to have a pretty stressful shift but kept smiles on their lovely faces. They all probably deserve a pay increase.

One of the worst experiences I've ever had at a hotel. It's outdated, on the small size, had a weird layout and the fire sprinkler was in the shower with you. During our stay we unfortunately had a fire alarm go off in the middle of the night. At no point, did any of the staff help direct any of the many guests trying to find their way out of the building? The fire exits were not clearly marked. At no point did any of member of staff go outside with all the rest of the guests to tell us that we could re-enter the building? It wasn't until we watched the fire department drive away. Did we take the courage to walk in ourselves. We were then informed that they made a single announcement that clearly no one had heard because none of the guests in the lobby were going back to their room at no point where there was an apology or an explanation.
The only thing this hotel has going for it is its prime location in Sydney. You're right down on the waterfront in the middle of all the activities you're going to want to do. Be it tours in the daytime or clubbing in the night time.

We loved the hotel. The harbour location is great, close to Opera House, the Bridge, cruise ship port, and airport...as well as a number of restaurants and shops. The service was great. They were kind enough to hold our luggage until check-in time, allowing us to walk about and enjoy the market. The breakfast buffet was very good, although a little pricey. I highly recommend. I would definitely stay there again.

Really should be a 3.5 star if they had an option. The hot tub and roof pool were STUNNING. Best part of the whole place. Hot tub wasn't very warm though, and every day we were there, there is a different cruise ship parked at the dock between the hotel and the opera house so you don't really get the view you want unless it's night time and the ships are gone. Not really the hotels fault, but unfortunately it's the reality of the situation. Location is good. Really expensive for what you get though. Rooms were big, but very dated. Expensive vale parking. Overall, I'm not mad about our time there, but wouldn't probably go back, even if it was $100 a night cheaper

Very handy location for The Overseas passenger terminal.
Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were spacious and clean but older. Bed was very comfortable.
Breakfast buffet was very good.
Handy location to shopping and restaurants in The Rocks.
Train station and ferries a short walk away. Would not hesitate to stay here again.
