Popped in for lunch, was a little early so the kitchen wasn't open but the bar was. A real shame that 😂 got the chicken Parma and it was delicious. Staff were very helpful and attentive, and the food was well presented and prompt. Absolutely deserving of 5 stars

My husband and I had a very disappointing meal here last night. Our experience started by being left waiting at the front waiting to be seated because the staff member who saw us decided to wander over to take an order for a table of 4 people before coming back to take us to our seat.
Once seated (in the back section), we decided to order the pensioner garlic bread $8 for two tiny pieces of bread!! The mozzarella sticks $9 for three small processed sticks served on soggy, limp lettuce. 2 bowls of spaghetti bolognese $18 each pension size, which was more like kids size!! And because we were still hungry, we ordered a bowl of chips $10, which came to us cold. I asked the girl if they could please be replaced with hot chips, and the same chips were returned to us, and they had been refried!! We ordered the cider on tap (Goat)$14.60 for 2x pots, and it was flat as a tack, I think it must have been the end of the keg or just not aerated enough??
We paid $81.60 and if you add everything up it should have cost $77-60 (I have no idea what the extra $4-00 charge was for)for an extremely average meal and a non existent customer service experience. We are locals and we like to support local businesses but I'm afraid that considering what we paid and weighing up the quality of the food and dining experience I know we can definitely get much better value for money and service elsewhere in San Remo, Phillip Island or Wonthaggi. The San Remo Hotel will need to lift its game before the upcoming summer season.

We ordered the meatball parma and the beef skewers. The parma was supoise to have beef balls and they were processed chicken balls with no flavour. The parma was tiny the chips were bad, the beef skewers were tough and chewy and the marinade was slapped on after they were cooked. Will not be returning.
Service wasn't great either, had to find someone to place our order and find someone again to pay to leave.

Great place for a pub meal. The environment was very welcoming, staff were really friendly. Street parking available. Food was good and the steak was cooked to perfection but was lacking seasoning. Mash was not very good. But the overall experience was okay. Service was amazing, good facilities as well.

The first thing I'll say is the fish was very fresh with a great batter and the garlic bread was good. The chips were tepid as were the vegies. The chips seemed to have been cooked twice and were crunchy yet oily and all the potato had been fried away. The positive aspect was the great service that we had. The staff are great.
