Cocktails and drink choices for the most discerning tastes, a great atmosphere for those who don't want something more than a crowded pub or club. Good tunes from the Dj. Attentive service from the staff. Clean restrooms.

The "old fashioned" was more sugary with no bite. Weaker than expected. They have quite the selection though. Nice atmosphere and decor. The servers are pleasant. If you find this useful please like or react. Thank you. 🙏😘

Seems like a secret spot but that's what made it a bit exciting to be able to find. The drink selection is great and super tasty. Accomodating staff had suggestions and made anything we could come up with. Will be back again.

I've lived in Brisbane for over 10 years and always passed this brightly coloured door with its gorgeous knocker - but never knew the absolute treasure that lay behind it until recently!

We were greeted so warmly, just like rocking up at an old friend's place, and the atmosphere was such a beautiful world to enter into. It's a sultry, dark and moody interior but with beautiful sunshine faces waiting to greet you!

We ordered espresso martini's, and were told to head up to a table and they'd be brought to us. Found a comfortable little booth but not before stopping to marvel at all the details en route.

Stunning dripping wax candles (real ones, am I right?!) gorgeous wallpaper, and artefacts - in fact I may need to come back just to inspect every little detail more thoroughly! I was clearly that impressed by the wallpaper in the bathroom that it's the only picture I took of the place!

Our host brought the Martini's and they were divine and just what was needed to keep going into the night.

When we left there was a butterscotch aroma around the bar area - turned out they were experimenting with new flavours and concoctions and the beaming faces, genuinely excited to be creating something new put a smile on my face too. That's passion, and it's so evident here.

Thanks for a delightful time, regrets it was only a short stop this time.

Awesome cozy atmosphere, good unique cocktails, and great personalized service, but they charge $25-$30 for most cocktails, then they tack on a card payment surcharge, and then worst of all the receipt has a line to add a tip! (this is Australia, not America!). It seems this place belongs in Southbank, not Fortitude Valley! Despite the ridiculous cost, it was still a nice experience that you should try just once for the great atmosphere and service, but going forward I will stick with Death & Taxes for even better cocktails in a similar environment at 2/3 the cost!
