All day kitchen makes attending the pub very flexible. Has other area for finer dining.
Seated by the fire during cooler weather is a must... fantastic atmosphere.
Food was good. Pub favourites available. Check out any specials.

We had lunch last weekend and enjoyed incredible steaks along with mash, pepper sauce and veggies. We thought it was great value, plenty of choices in terms of add-ons and other menu items. We also enjoyed our entree of saganaki. Great wine list including Rockfords range. We recommend.

I haven't been in Sawyers Arms since 1985 so needless to say I was truly impressed when I stopped by to see if we could get some lunch to celebrate my nephew's birthday.

There are not many places that show generous open arms when you are looking for a 2pm weekday lunch - but their team outdid themselves with their service, welcome, food and drinks.

My nephew and I both chose the Beef cheek which was tender and delicious and then we tried the crème brûlée and home made ice-cream with decadent chocolate praline. Excellent coffee and a little fudge treat to go with it - why other places don't do this post a lovely meal is beyond me - even though I know everything costs.

The waiters were attentive and the room cosy - I noticed a large table of women sitting in front of the fire having the best time and although we got there late in the service there was no rush to have us gone.

An excellent place to celebrate special and usual events for sure!

Awesome food, very posh restaurant quality produce.
We really enjoyed the steak, loved the fire grilled taste to the char. The desserts were to die for, will definitely be visiting again.

The meals were the best food we've had in a very long time. Everything made from scratch, fresh and full of flavour. Would highly recommend this restaurant 😃
