Great atmosphere & excellent food , drinks , Owners & Staff just fabulous

As part of the hoards that disembarked off the train today from Melbourne I cannot give this wonderful pub more credit. From the friendly greeting to the service (they were run off their feet), to the great food, so reasonably priced menu. Beautiful town, great pub. Really hope Steamrail Victoria make this a regular trip

Fantastic meals, we had a large group (9) and the meals were consistently really good, all served hot and very reasonably priced. We will definitely be back and would highly recommend

The food was amazing. The service was friendly and welcoming. Meals are not cheap, however they are worth every penny. I found my go to restaurant. Highly recommend. Thank you team for a great night.

the food was mid and someone's burger was "inedible". there was a really depressing atmosphere, no music, no good vibes. the customer service was okay, the servers were nice but the food just wasn't up to scratch and it took a while for some of the meals to arrive. a poster about how there were spirits haunting the hotel hanging up on the wall scared the younger children to the point of tears, and the decorations were extremely disappointing. unfortunately, this was a pretty disappointing visit. although i will say the hot chips were delectable, that's it though.

The bed was clean, brand new and so comfy. The meals in the pub was the best. Huge steak sandwich, so delicious and best value for money. The hotel manager, Bruce, fantastic host with great local knowledge, everyone was welcoming and very hospitable. Definitely coming back, really enjoyed my short stay there.

Camped in the RV stop across the tracks and called over for dinner Thursday night. The staff, Linda, we're great and the steak I had and the lamb shanks my wife had were very tasty. Recommend the meals and the nice cold beers on tap.

Really good meal. I had the porterhouse special and it was great, cooked as requested and tender. Served with a nice fresh salad which was dressed well.
My wife had the spring vegetable risotto, which was also very good.
Worth the trip.
