Could be amazing..... BUT......

Fantastic location and beautiful outdoor area with fairy lights and overlooking the water.

The food - where to begin.......

The fisherman's basket - $32 for overcooked, frozen seafood and some chips. The tiny crumbed prawns were burnt as were the 1.5 calamari rings. The amount of food for over $30 was dismal. Didn't even come with the lemon and tartare that was advertised - had to ask for it and was made to feel stupid when I did.

Will vote with my feet and won't be back.

Really good place like it except the couple next to me sitting and smoking and that not fresh when you try to enyoy the food I order. But the drinks are 5/5 and owed all the places was chill and goofy

We just had lunch here and it was perfect on every level - beautiful views of the water on a glorious day, dog-friendly, good service, plus my salad was great. Such a lovely experience!

Loved the atmosphere and live music. Meal was atrocious. Ordered a seafood basket, it was so greasy, clearly hadn't had long enough to drain oil to off before serving. The seafood was so over cooked the color of the crumbed prawns were dark brown. We pulled off the crumbs as inedible and prawn underneath was so dried out. We said something to a worker when collecting plates and he didnt say a word just looked at us as though we were a pain. Service at bar was terrible. I ordered a frozen margarita, young girl poured it and went to get garnish, none in container. Instead of getting some she with out a word put in front of me and served next customer. Disappointed in bar service and would never order food here again. Need to lift their game. Shame as great venue.

Had dinner at Shaws Bay hotel. The seafood platter was amazing and so fresh. The rump steak was tender and juicy, cooked perfectly as medium rare and nicely chargrilled outside. Nice bottle of reasonably priced Shiraz to accompany the meal.
