Came for a drive to Maitland on a sunny Sunday with friends, stopped in for a decent pub feed for lunch. Drinks from the bar were nice and cold and went down nicely, we sat down and ordered lunch, the lads had steaks and the ladies fish and chips and chicken schnitty. Lunch came out reasonably quickly however the fish was rubbery and not much better than catfood, the schnitty was more crumb than actual chicken, really it was barely even chicken. Certainly not a piece of chicken breast, more like a dry, rubbery chicken pattie. The chips on all 4 plates I could have counted on one hand and then to ice the cake I paid $5.26 for a can of coke no sugar! Ridiculous... The highlight of the visit was standing at the bar waiting to be served and listening to the barstaff tell each other loudly they are all about to quit. Heads up Mr Manager, your staff are about to walk... -10/10 for the Imperial..??'?
