Almost out of diesel, thanks to google maps, so very relieved to know shindys inn had availability. Not strictly within bowser hours but the lovely bar attendant got us sorted without any hassle at all. Then a cold drink at the bar and we camped across the river overnight. Lots and lots of memorabilia in the dining room.

Fantastic little outback pub. We were here for the Louth races and the owner Kathy and her staff did an amazing job in keeping everyone watered and fed with cold beers and great food.
Great job guys.
Kathy, thank you for the beer and cooler for my birthday.

An interesting pub with nice basic meals. The chips there are the best I have had in a very long time.

Louth is a lovely little town. Very clean & well kept. The pub was closed just for the day when we were there but it was clear to see it's a classic outback pub right on the Darling River.

We spent a couple of nights here Easter weekend. Fantastic place to stay. Lovely people and excellent food. We highly recommend the garlic prawn pizza. It was mint. Definitely worth a stop if you're in the area.

Great staff, great place to stop. Be sure to stop by and have a beer or 3 to support our Aussie Outback pubs. They also have fuel, but ring ahead to ensure they have fuel to be safe before you setoff out this way. It is a somewhat remote location.

I'm sure it's a great place but we needed fuel and it was closed. We came back past on Sunday and still closed. Best to phone ahead.

Just dropped in for a beer it was nice and cold served in a cold clean glass with a smile cant ask for more than that te lunches looked great as well but we kept moving

It's absolutely a brilliant little pub, and the drive to get there is just as good.

the pub is ritch in history with loads oldtime artefacts hanging on the wall's.
the locals are really great to talk with and have plenty of good yarns to tell.

I slept over the darling River in me swag. but was close walking distance to the pub
I have no photos of the pub, but I do of the camp site

This place is up there in the top 2 ,heaven i say ,if there's such a thing,haha,if you drive thru and the pub is closed then camp up on the river and wait,its not closed for ever, or you must be in a rush,,,dont be so critical on small towns for prices they charge,they wouldn't be for you and then you may run out of fuel and beers on your trips ahead,??????????????'? ,,,

Great spot for overnighting. Nicely kept caravan area with cabins & powered sites. Very good amenities. Fuel available.

This has to be a place to stop in if you are travelling past.... don't drive by. A very friendly lady at the bar answering our questions and just chatting away, lovely. Quite a few relics to look at inside and pictures to check out. Ordered the burgers, they are worth it..... not kidding. Just a gem of a place in Outback NSW.
