Slipway Hotel - Motel

Went to bed and woke to no phone wallet or earbuds. Somebody entered my room and stole the lot. Ground floor unit. Hotel not helpful in trying to help. Had to go find a local policeman. Not impressed

The chef was very rude and didn't cook the steak very well done and put tomatoes on my plate when I said no tomato's cause I'm allergic too them very rude

I haven't stayed in the rooms, but I've eaten at the Slipway many times. The meals are well cooked and very reasonably priced. The staff are always friendly and happy. It's always a pleasure to spend time there.

It is not fancy, its really pretty basic but sitting at the pub I appreciated the vibrant atmosphere that comes from being right on River Street. It's the ideal spot to people-watch and soak in the hustle and bustle of this charming coastal town. The Slipway Hotel offers not just great food and drinks but also a cozy, local vibe that feels welcoming and genuine.

The place is in the centre of the town, it's close to everything, as in everything. The rooms are outdated but neat and tidy. They provide fresh towels every day, coffee, tea, and sugar, and collect your rubbish. The TV in our room isn't smart tv, but it's okay. They have a bar fridge and kettle to make yourself a coffee.
